Cruise is good to go, I need to schedule 'the call' from Mickey/Minnie to tell the kids they can't wait to see them onboard.
Also need to build a grocery list to get some things delivered to the resorts for our stay afterwards, get the dogs scheduled for boarding, and start packing suitcases!
Halloween costumes for the kids, I guess I need to look at those too,
Really looking forward to Food and Wine fest in Epcot, I'm tired of seeing pictures and reviews on it. I'm tying to dig a hole to get ready for all the junk I will eat, and weight I will gain while on vacation,
Robyn, we are booked for the Dine with Shamu Sunday at 5:30. Kids eat free and the price is lowered to $30 for adults. That and the Halloween activities will make for a fun day to walk off our sea legs!
DCL contacted myself and both my Cousins this past Tuesday too let us know that we had been upgraded from Oceanview rooms too Deck 8 Deluxe Oceanview family staterooms with Verandah!!!!!
OMG!! We were so excited!!! I do not think we have stopped smiling since we got the news...So unexpected!!! This is my 5th DCL cruise and I have never been upgraded....I can not help thinking that maybe my loyalty too Disney is paying off and I did book this when I was on board the DREAM in May 2011!
So since my Cousins are linked too me they got upgraded too and we are still all together in a row...so that is so nice....
I am not even telling Josie (14)..She thinks we just have a window. What a surprise I have in store for her. I just wish we were on longer than 3 nights!
Just 8 days until we leave for Orlando and I am *so* excited. 1 case is packed already and the other is pretty much ready to be packed, I just need to get on with it.
In case anyone is going to be in Florida before the cruise there will be a rocket launch on Sunday night (Oct. 7), I am so excited I just bought tickets tonight. We had tickets to view the shuttle lunch years ago and it got rescheduled so we were never able to view it. I am trying not to get my hopes up for this one, but I am excited and hope it pans out.
My daughters and I will be on the CCAI 20th anniversary cruise with you! This is our first Disney cruise. We are really looking forward to it. We've been reading the posts and trying to get our goodies together for decorating the door and participating in the FE game.
I've been checking the prices and availability pretty much every other day because we want to try and upgrade to a balcony at the port and it seems like all of the ocean views and balconies are now sold out not sure what caused the sudden influx of bookings, maybe they offered special rates.
That does seem strange. Every other cruise for the month still has those categories available. Maybe they are upgrading some of the inside rooms in order to sell more at the cheaper cost...
Hoping you get an upgrade. Surely with some last minute cancellations there may still be some rooms available.

The big day is getting closer! We are leaving for our cruise in a couple of days and I just wanted to wish you a great first Disney cruise. May it be truly magical!
We are good with printing the list. Has anyone heard from 77Mom? We leave early Saturday morning and probably won't have much internet access after that. Was hoping to get a room number for them to finalize the list. One more week!!!
