Hello all, Fireman17 here husband of Mommyrom. I just want to drop in and ask if you all could send some pixie dust

and thoughts and prayers to Mommyrom.
She has had a very, very tough week in regards to her Father's health. It all started Saturday when she called me at work to tell me the police had just contacted her after they responded to his home for a disturbance he caused with the neighbor.
The police handled it great because they know him well and that he's lived there all his life. The problem was he was in the neighbors backyard doing lawn work and she found him still out there at 10 p.m. my DW called him on Sunday and told him to just stay away from the neighbors yard.
Well, on Monday while at work I hear the emergency services get dispatch to his address for a confused male in the backyard when I was able to get to a phone my wife had already been called by the PD and I told her I was on the way. He again was in the neighbor's back yard doing yard work that Mommyrom told him not to do. When the police officer starting asking simple question he became very confused about what was going on.
When I arrived the PD. FD and EMS service were all still there and luckily on the engine was her former brother in law and a close friend of the family. I also knew both EMS personnel very well which comforted my wife. They transport him to the local ER and this past Tuesday he had an MRI, Cat scan and some other minor test done.
It appears it maybe the start of first stage Alzheimer's disease and he may have to be placed into assisted living and never go back home.
Now Mommyrom is the only daughter in the area and her other two sisters are out of state and they can only help so much so for now Mommyrom is doing it all between hospital visits, lawyer visits and searching for a good place to place him and it's taking a toll on her emotionally.
I've been off work since Monday to tend to our children but have to go back on Sunday.
If you can send some words of encouragement, PM's and pixie dust

Mommyrom's way I would greatly appreciate and I'm sure it will lift her spirits.
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
