Good morning all,
As I sit here this morning before going in for my shift I just need to share with all of you my happiness on this Christmas Eve.
Eleven years ago today at 4 p.m. my life changed forever when I said I do to the most wonderful person in the wolrd, my wife.
She has given me three wonderful children and will be adding one more to our life in June and there are not enough words to say how much I love her.
She has been by my side through thick and thin, good times and bad but still shines like the sun that she is.
I would like to say these words to my wife on our Christmas Eve Anniversary,

Until we met I didn't know
How light a heart could be;
How, chained to one by bonds of love,
I still could feel so free.


I didn't realize that my dreams
Could ever be so real;
Or when I had all I could want,
Exactly how I'd feel.


This year of love has brought me through
A long awaited door;
Were angels parked along our skies,
I could not love you more.

Please excuse the "fluff" DH (fireman17) has added to our thread...I thought the cards I woke up to at home would be plenty from him, but, oh well...What can I say?

Great job on getting past 2,000 posts by Christmas! Kritter, did you say 6,000 by Christmas?!?! I am not sure how much spare time I will have today, but I will try to add to the fun...Right now, my DS9 and DD6 are ROOOOWWDY!!!! and DS4 is walking around the house whining "I want my toys from Santa" and cannot understand that they are not coming from Santa until tomorrow

This Mommy has waaaay too much to get done today and tonight...I spent 5 hours cleaning out the other house with my DS17 yesterday and now think that maybe I should have stayed put here instead...

Well, Good Christmas Eve Morning to all my friends here and off to the baking, wrapping, refereeing the kiddos........

The sun is out today, so at least it's not snowing. It's cold though, like 5. I am heading out shopping shortly, so we'll see what the roads look like. I'm crossing my fingers!

Janet and Kristin: Jacob and Jenna received all their card today from Emme and Joey and from Hanna and Hope. They were so excited and what great timing. Jenna loved the cards and pictures and can't wait to send out more. She loved the pic Emme with Mickey. Jacob read his letter and was very excited about the idea of the lego. He wants me to take pictures of his "creations" as well. They will both send back responses soon.

Hope everyone isn't too busy with last minute "stuff". We have to make cookies for Santa and we are going to my brothers tonight.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes! Yes, it was a beautiful evening, despite the rain! We were married in a small ceremony in a quaint chapel in Mystic Village here in our local area...Then, just a small dinner at my parents house. Funny that a strong memory I have of the evening is stopping by the Fire Dept. to say hello and bringing them leftover wedding cake...We all shared champagne and then after we left, the firemen enjoyed a food fight in our honor with our leftover wedding cake! Nice, Huh? I guess that is how a new fireman's wife is "officially" welcomed to the "family"?

We truly enjoyed being on the Wonder last year in early December to celebrate our 10th Anniversary...You must be so excited to be planning your cruise for '09! I am so envious, but with a new little one, cruises will be on hold for a bit for us...DVC resorts will be seeing plenty of this clan, though!

I have ventured out and made it back safely. The main roads are better, and I'm sure will improve as the day goes on. Side roads and parking lots and driveways are still really dicey though!

This will probably be it for me until the 26th. We are off to church at 2, then my SIL's at 5, then tomorrow we have 6 hours total in the car for my dads family.
