Well, the flower bed is DONE! no more bushes and no more wild ground cover. I hope I NEVER see that stuff again! It's like a weed! It's just amazing how much of that stuff there was!

Got my shower and we are off to BobEvan's for dinner.

Maureen, book the room and if a better rate is found later, you can change it! I am sorry your not having a good day! I think we've all been there, done that! Since you're offically not preggers, have a drink and relax the rest of the night!

I couldn't handle 102 degrees! WOW is that hot!!!!! Try and stay cool!!

You know what. I am not in a great mood(hormones) and I've had enough aggravation today. I posted a thread on the Budget Board asking about Hotwire and hit a couple of helpful forums. They were helpful enough that I am abandoning the idea and booking rackrate. I'd rather know what I'm getting upfront, with a refundable rate or advance cancellation that benefits me.

So all I have to od now is pick a card and book a room. And wait for it to rain.

Hey everyone, hows it goin'? Rain here for most of the day, looks like the sun is peeking out now though. Spent most of the day preparing cakes, one for a course and one for my sons school. Hope all is well out there in Pirate land!!!

Making cakes sounds fun. I like to bake. I just tried Paula Dean's coconut layer cake recipe the other day ( I remember reading about Paula in the last chapter I love coconut and cake of course, but was really disapointed in the cake overall. It was the filling I didn't care for, the sour cream was overwhelming

Funny how booking a hotel room makes me feel better LOL. Should have booked it last week, was 10 bucks cheaper, but I needed to wait it out.

Tomorrow, I'll really feel better, calling the TA and putting the last bit of money owed on the cruise out. Then all i have to do is sail.

I still have 2 more reservations to make hotel wise but we need to deicde where we're going to stop for the night each way b4 I do that. With luck another CI&S so i can acquire points. I'll likely wait till a couple weeks ahead of time or a little closer than that to get those done.

Hi everyone,
Wow, another new chapter!
It's 102 here today, too hot to do much. So other than watering the yard this morning, I'm staying in with the ac on. Need to get started planning a Memorial Day birthday bbq for DD's 24th. I'm in charge of food and location. It'll be at our house so I'll need to get the house and yard ready for guests too, which I enjoy. Too hot to work outside today and I did a big inside cleaning yesterday, which was also too hot for working outside. I just hope it cools down in time for the party.

Mary, I'm feeling your pain with this heat!!!!! Our AC is working hard today!!! They say it should start cooling down in a couple of days!!! Not soon enough though!!! I'm not looking forward to seeing our power bill!!!!

I agree, hope you have a better night than day. There's a bunch of us staying at CIS night before cruise. There's going to be a pool party, Allen's hired a disc jockey (his ipod )
There's only one catch. You and Rich have to wear a foam parrothead hat OK OK 2 catches. You have to have a beer with us unless you are pregnant, then you have to drink a healthy juice and let DH drink your share

It's such a relief to get all the arrangements done for the October trip and get the best prices. I know we were watching airfares for a while before we finally booked the and all they did was go up, so what the heck, we booked at the end of March. And it just keeps going up still, glad we booked it then.

But the cruise will be the only charges on the this card it could happen

Ah well, we'll talk catches when we get there. I do really hope to be pregnant on this cruise. And DH is a Friend of BIll's. But we'll see when the time comes LOL,

Making cakes sounds fun. I like to bake. I just tried Paula Dean's coconut layer cake recipe the other day ( I remember reading about Paula in the last chapter I love coconut and cake of course, but was really disapointed in the cake overall. It was the filling I didn't care for, the sour cream was overwhelming

I love decorating cakes, have to get more adventurous in baking the cakes. I really enjoy it, I am making a two tiered fondant cake for my course, hopefully it turns out!!!
