Yeah it does, is that hard to keep track of??

Not too complicated to keep up with the schedule. After 7 years, I've even finally started learning which track (and neighbor) is going out every 3 weeks (besides my girls' track), and I know my girls have the first 3 weeks off in January (tacked onto 2 weeks of Christmas break -- 5 weeks is too long), the first 3 weeks off in April, most of July, except the last few days, and the first 3 weeks of October. There are also no random teacher work days to work into your calendar because the teachers on that track also get a 3-week break.

Year-round is an option for K-8, so when Erin goes into high school for 9th, she goes back to the traditional schedule, but track 4 schedule is similar in the summer, so it hopefully won't mess us up too much with her sisters still tracking in and out (DD4 will be in by then)! But that's when it will become COMPLICATED!

The school system thankfully provides a lovely color-coded calendar, and even a wallet size version for when you make those wonderful doc appts. when they are out of school!

The girls definitely see out-of-town family more than they would on a traditional schedule. Now if I can just talk my mom into taking ALL 3 for a week!

Our year round school is different here!! The kids get are 4 months on, 2 months off!!! When my girls were on it, they were off for 2 months in the summer and then Jan and Feb!!!! It got to be very long!!!:rolleyes1

oh that would get long!!!!!! LOL

Tell me about it!!!!! Now they are traditional so only the summers are long now!!:lmao:

oh I know what that is like!!!!! every week Josh would ask me when school was starting.....LOL he was really bored. That's why we keep the kids really busy during summer, every weekend we usually do something fun or go somewhere!!!

Have any of you seen those really cute smileys that some people have on some of the other threads???
I found out they are from smileycentral.com.........so I went on there and downloaded it onto my toolbar! The problem is I can't figure out how to post them on the board!! I pm'd her and asked her how she does it and she said she only has to click on it!!:confused3
Oh well, I really wanted to start using them but I don't think that is going to happen.......... unless one of you can figured it out and tell this not so computer savvy person how!!!:teacher:

Evening Everyone!
Just watched the fireworks! Very cool! I'll be back for that tomorrow too!

Steve is doing well. Didn't go anywhere today, but had a foot dr appt in the morning, has to run to the post office to mail a package to his sister, then to the bank.

I cut grass tonight and loaded a bunch of CDs to my new Zune! Then I loaded a mess of photos! It can hold like 25,000 photos and 2,500 songs and movies too, but i don't know how many, and I haven't tried loading one! Maybe tomorrow!

Well, i am going to call it an early night! everyone take care!!
