Oh yea. She goes to a reading conference every December in Gatlinburg, so I meet her there on the Friday it is over and we stay the weekend.....like we need an excuse to go to Gatlinburg. I told her tonight that I was ready to go to G-burg. We usually go 2 or 3 times a year. It is really cool at New Years. They have a ball drop from the space needle and a huge street party. We have been doing that for years. There was about 75,000 people there last year.

Wow, 75,000 people............now that's a party!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!
Slept quite fitfully last night! Steve even had to bump me a few times to stop the snoring! I was exhausted after yesterday!

Steve is feeling pretty good today! Hasn't reached for the pain meds yet, so that's good! Said his throat hurts worse then his belly still. Offered him a hot tea, but since he doesn't like tea, he gagged and said, No thanks!

We are invited to the home of one of his coworkers for a picnic dinner. (and beer bash) Steve said he wants to go....with his compression stockings and all! But the rain needs to stop first! not much of a picnic if it rains! All I know is, I won't have to cook dinner!

And since WHEN does Wendy's have Choc. Chip Cookie Dough Frosty's??? HELLO?!?!?!? I didn't hear of this! Is it a regional trial?? Gosh, that just sounds TOO yummy!!!

Going to fix some breakfast...we'll be around most of today. See ya later!

I'm glad to hear Steve is doing well!!! I don't remember needing any pain meds after the first night either.

I'm not sure when the Cookie Dough Frosty came about, I just found them yesterday!!!!

Has he tried green tea? I hate tea, makes me gag too but green tea I can drink. Mint or raspberry are really good. I have a box of honey green tea as well.

Michele, I'm so glad Steve is feeling well enough to go to a BBQ!!!! That's great news!! I hope the weather cooperates!! I'm glad you got some rest last!!!

I'm going to a bridal shower in a couple of hours, then to the mall, and later Shannon is going to a birthday party!!!

Do you have a "Bulk Barn" there? The best in, my opinion of course, is Celestial Gardens and they sell it at...Bulk Barn. If you don't like it, bring the box on the cruise, I'll buy them off you.
Or better yet, just get a green tea at Timmies, then you'll know if you like it.
