Hope everybody had a great weekend.

Mostly i worked and today came home and watched the race at Talladega. I think the race was the most exciting part of my weekend. Things are shaping up here for a busy weekend and a trip on Saturday up to Richmond(though unfortunately not to see the race). After this week, things should be a bit quieter, i think

Hi all!!!!

I wish it were cold here today, it is so hot the air conditioner has kicked on several times today!!!
I'm not ready for summer heat yet!!!!

We're back!!!!!

I am tired and actually ready for bed!! It was a very good day and it was great to see my Aunts Uncles Cousins and Grandma again! It's been probably 15 years since I have seen them. Now that I know where my uncle lives and my Grandma is now living with him, I will probably go up there more often.....or at the least, stop to see them when I am up there. My Mom and Dad were there too, of course.
Long story short, there was some sort of turmoil between my Mom and Grandma. Whether it was the fact that they never liked my Dad or the fact that my Grandparents sold the house that my Mom grew up in to move across the country from Ohio to Utah, I don't know, and as I told my Mom, I don't really care. My Mom was hesitant to even be where her Mom is, but I have been talking to my cousin over the last few years and Grandma does not remember anything that happened. Grandma thought my Mom wasn't calling because Grandma thought my Mom didn't like my cousins! So now that she is living with my Uncle, she's always telling him how she misses my Mom and she never would call. I told my Mom to go to the wedding with the attitude that nothing did ever happen! So she did. It turned out to be very pleasant for everyone and even my cousins were commenting on how attentive my Mom was to what her Mom needed.....help to the bathroom, at the buffet line, and even offering her a jacket when it cooled off for the night! Anyway, I think by-gones are by-gones and all is well with the world again....I hope!

The sad part is, I ended up not taking any photos! I set my purse down up stairs and forgot about it until it was time to leave! I will email my cousins to see if they can forward me a few.

Well, I am going to get stuff done and get to bed. Have a great night and see you tomorrow!!

HI Candy!!!!!! my day was great !!!!! finished installing the closet shelves in the laundry room, cleaned part of the basement, found REALLY old pictures of me and Denis when we started dating!!!!!! too funny
