Okay, the flights are booked! Grand total for 4, round trip, $818. that includes all the fees and $20 PER BAG! I am praying I can get everything in 4 bags and 4 carry ons! We might have to carry our shoes in our carry on! LOL Those weigh the most!

Allen, we are going to go to HHI the week after Christmas! I am HOPING to be having dinner at Paula Deen's in Savannah on NYE!! I'll have to talk to Steve and see if we can't do a weekend this summer in G'burg!!

My Mom will be there with you!!!

Have you looked into the possibility of a bus yet? It could be arranged well ahead of time and even paid up beforehand. That's the way we like to travel, pay it all ahead of time so when holiday time comes around you only have to worry about spending money. This woul work out well considering we are all taking over the same hotel. I kind of feel sorry for the check in desk LOL.

Looks like we are going to do the airport shuttle to get to Detroit. We have to leave here by 3am then drive there and pay for parking for over a week...we may as well leave the truck at home and sleep all the way there...

BIL is the travel agent, so I'll talk to him and see if we can start getting some numbers together. That seems to be the thing to do.

He has never flown and is not crazy about the idea of flying, especially after I told him we would probably drive...

They are not all going with us so to speak, but we do know most of them. We just happen to all be going on the same trip at the same time.

Well, he's 66 years old and this will be his first time to fly ... he had a choice...fly or drive alone... NOT HAPPENING!

Just exchanged our timeshare for The Carolina Club at HHI starting Dec 28- Jan 4. I hope the weather cooperates and it's nice! Steve's parents and aunt are going to go with us.
Well, I have to go and check on the boys and see what they are doing. I told Connor to go to bed, but he might be watching TV upstairs!

The Indian's lost, but the Cav's are looking to beat The Celtics!!!

OH!! And aren't the Disney Buses just Mears Buses?? I would call and ask if they can charter a bus to get you from the airport and run you to CIS! They might not be able to, but it's worth a call!! OR, better yet! Have your BIL call, since he is the TA and it might be concidered as a TA request!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Most people get addicted to flying in a hurry, he should be ok. I was terrified to fly but after my first flight I was hooked and eventually went into the industry. The bulk of our work is always nightsift and that includes road trips. I've had flight attendants include us in their address, we'd like to thank our maintenance crew for working while we were all sleeping so we can fly this morning. And, if the mechanic will sit in the cabin, the aircraft is good to fly. LOL
