Have any of you seen the movie Expelled out in the movie theatre? We saw it yesterday, very interesting! Worth taking a look see if you are interested in science... it is a documentary with Ben Stein.

Planning on a QUIET day today... staying HOME I hope!

My DH's favorite creature on the planet is a bald eagle, if you see one again take a pic if you can.


Heidi: I heard about the expelled movie just yesterday. Unfortunately, I live in noweheresville as far as documentaries go. I've seen Ben on tv and he's terrifically smart. But unless this movie reaches Michael Moore status which I doubt it will, then I'm unlikely to see it anytime soon.

He took off too fast to get a picture. He was amazing, but I honestly hope he doesn't come back. I have a very petite 7 pound dog that runs in the weeds by the pond, and I'm really afraid that he might scoop her up thinking she's a rodent.

We have a lot of them around here, I live about a mile or two from the Mississippi River, and they nest there, but I've never EVER had one in my yard before. Very wierd.

Actually if you live in Chesapeake (under your avatar?) it IS playing! At the Greenbriar 13 I think? I went to the expelled website and they have a listing of the theatres that are playing it. It was supposed to only be at our theatres here in Boise for a week, but has been extended since enough people have been coming to see it.

Wow, an actual movie theater, around here, I'm sincerely impressed. We'll see about going if it sticks around more than a couple of weeks. Right now i'm booked solid through next Sunday. Working at Target this weekend and then up to Richmond for a conference next weekend. And boy do I wish i had money to go to the race next saturday night.

Yeah I'd probably be wary if I had a dog that small myself. My Dh grew up in Wisconsin, so I think he's seen a few up close himself. I only really ever got to see them in zoos. and maybe at the Animal Kingdom.

Hi Maureen!!!!!! alot of us are arriving the day before...we will be at the Country Inn & Suites in Cape Canaveral. If you have Allen's list you will see where everyone else is staying at. Hope you can join us at Country Inn and Suites and maybe we can all sit by the pool and chat!!!!!!

Erika, that is so cool that you saw an eagle this morning!! we have a few hawks, but no eagles. There was one Saturday morning, I stood at the kitchen window for nearly 30 mins watching this hawk in the trees. The squirrels were fit to be tied and kept running up to it and as soon as the hawk would move, the squirrel would scamper back down the tree, only to turn around and go back to it again. Finally it flew off. I don't worry about my dogs and the hawks, but my neighbor has a small dog and my mom's dog is a mini schnauzer...she watches him closely when they visit.

Which might be soon! Steve goes to talk to the surgeon on Tuesday. Connor goes to the GI on May 30.

Afternoon everybody. Hope everybody's having a great day. I think COuntry Inn is my first choice for a room. It was the last time I started planning a cruise. This time I'm pretty sure I'll actually get to go

We are at the Radisson... we need a new bed, and thought it would be fun to try out the sleep number beds there before we buy a new one. We are arriving a few days early, and going to the Kennedy Space Center before hand... supposedly we can get free tickets from our congressman (called, and they are working on it).

We are staying at the Residence Inn!!! Our rate was $105!!

We are staying at Saratoga Springs Resort, thanks to Kristin!! We were going to stay at Pop Century, but this will be fun to try out a new resort!! We have actually talked about selling our timeshare in Orlando and investing in DVC! I wish we would have just done that in the first place, but what's done is done.
