Hello All!
I survived!!!! LOL

Well, let's see....in an hour and a half we sold 10 THOUSAND tickets. We sold out and had to resell what we had and run to Walmart to get more. We ran out of cakes at the cake walk..twice. It's my understanding now, that the woman that was running it, was doing it wrong! She was suppose to wait for 10 kids to do it, but she would do it with one if that's all that was there! My friend told me that is how her son won the cake walk, he was the only one! I did NOT run out of prizes!!! I was so worried that I had ordered too many, really, but once it started, I was afraid I didn't get enough! We had to close the balloon stomp twice. They went through 288 balloons in less then 2 hours and went to buy more. They then ran out of balloons again by 1pm! Thankfully, for me, soccer and baseball season openers were cancelled this morning! That helped to bring a TON of people into the school! I could not BELIEVE the number of people we had there! The goal of the carnival was to only make $600. If we have done the math right, she said we cleared $1700!!! WAY more then we expected!! All in all, it was a great day! I didn't hear of any complaints and I didn't get yelled at for anything! LOL All the parents really stepped up and helped!

I have been to Rio Grande and had dinner and had a strawberry margarita. (new flavor for this restaurant. Usually its just reg and peach) I am EXHAUSTED!! The drink probably isn't helping either though. I am not a drinker....maybe one with friends for dinner....and the margaritas at this place are STRONG!!

thank you Kristin!! I am VERY happy it is ovewith! I am so very tired though! Some of my exhaustion is just from doing the carnival, some of it is emotional let down (I was so amped up this morning! Now those emotions are gone) and some of it is the tequila! Like I said, We are really not drinkers, so for me to have one...and a strong one at that....I could fall asleep here at the kitchen table! LOL I just have to say, I was SHOCKED, overwhelmed and elated to see SO many people at the school today! Nothing like what I had expected!!!!!!!

Nancy, it was you that made the iron on shirts??? Can you tell me what photo did you use? Did you use a higher resolution photo then the one in the siggy? Can you share them with me?? I would like to use the mickey siggy photo to make shirts....and maybe Allen's too....but I am thinking I would have to have the high ressie...maybe even bigger.....photo.

Here are the shirts I made for Josh and Kevin...I just used regular resolution and they came out really nice. I'll try to find the siggy image for you too...

I just turned on 10 Things I Hate About You.

Today I finished our taxes and dh finally got the Christmas lights off the house, since it's actually not snowing today.

It's the first one, just seen a huge 3 headed dog LMAO.
Nancy wanted to go clean the yard today, lots of neighbours raking leaves and garbage. I'd rather wait, the ground is way too soft to be out walking on it
