Yep, I think with 3 weeks of Chicken pox, WDW, the death of my moms boyfriend, my body was tired and got the bug easily. It seems there is little time for relaxing though, things still need to get done. My mom is moving to Ajax on Sat. so I need to be better to help her move in.
Nancy,
The sun is out here and it is warm today........ Just made a ton of meatballs and sauce for DH's work party tomorrow for their luncheon.. Off to get the kids ready for school and then volunteering in their classroo today, then Tumble Bunnies tonight....!!!!!!!!!
that's great that she will be so close to you!!!!!!!
that happens all the time...as soon as you feel tired your immune system gets really weak and voila! you get sick...hope you'll feel better soon!![]()

Hello everyone! Just catching up while we have dinner. Can't wait to see the photos Kristin! Sorry you had a rough start to your trip! I am glad it all ended okay though!
I talked to Connor's Dr today. He is refering us to a GI. Wish us luck!
Steve had his ultrasound today for his gall bladder. We'll hear about it tomorrow. Wish us luck! LOL
NOW, I have to drag my sorry rear end outside to cut the grass. ...sigh.....
OH! And my kitchen faucet decided to die this morning! Thankfully, there isn't a leak, but there's no water coming out of the spigot either. Looks like I'll get my new faucet after all! Too bad we don't have the money right now to do the counters too!!!!
I love to cut grass
I love to cut grass
I love to cut grass
If I say it enough, I should convice myself, right?
Evening Yall
Dropping in for a quick hello. Rain seems to have finally stopped here.We got 3.5 inches yesterday. No wonder I felt like a wet dog LOL. Now with any luck my ground will dry out just enough so we can start working on the yard and plant some roses later this week.
As for mowing the lawn.....that's why i got married LOL. So I don't have to mow the lawn![]()
As for my exercise, Target gives me 8hrs daily activity on my feet, but I need to start my stability ball routine again. Just been so busy.
Hope everybody's having a great day.
Hey Everyone!
J (DH) is out mowing the yard as we speak! I don't ever mow the yard either!
Allen and DW called and said they were coming out in a bit, so waiting on them. It was about 80 here today and sunny... got a little one handed dirth therapy in planting some large pots I have! I wanna dig in the dirt so bad and can't right now. Guess I'll have to get J to plant my hostas and ferns in my shade bed for me.
We got 3.5 inches of rain last week... thank goodness. We needed it.
Gina, I understand your immune system being down... my Mom died back in Nov. and I've missed more sick days (not counting my surgery) this year than the total of 20 years with the company. It's hard to bounce back. STRESS is the worst thing in the world for your system. I'm doing much better now that I've had this time off from work, even tho it's been painful, that's one less stress on me and we will have Mom's estate settled in a couple more weeks. At that time I can take a good deep breath and hopefully get on with taking care of me!
Sandra, I hope all goes with your mom's estate!!! Tell Allen and DW...and J hello for me!!!
I hope you all have a nice time tonight!!
He takes a 2 thousand pound roller to your yard and takes out all the uneven bumps. It's perfect this time of year before the ground firms up.Unfortunately we don't get much of a break in the winter from mowing the lawn! Lucky for me, Randy does that! Plus we get an extra bonus.....my DBIL lives next door to us so when he mows his lawn, he brings it across the driveway and continues on ours!!!! So I never have to mow the lawn!!
Denis, what does a lawn rolling guy do???
I bet you're glad that is over!!!!!The dang gum grass is mowed! Sheeesh! It was thick, tall and wet...not a good combination! The mower must have conked out a dozen times! I think we are going to have to mow 2 times a week for a while. Once the summer heat comes, it will slow down some. As for cutting grass....Steve works a 12 hour shift, sometimes 6 days a week. On day 7, we would rather do stuff as a family then sit and watch him cut grass. SO, I get stuck with the deed.
Now, I am waiting on Steve to get home so we can try and fix the faucet. I hope it's an easy fix, 'cuz I don't want to be up late!
