Miraflores has not been online in several days, only the high resolutions one. They did not go thru the Miraflores locks as that is the one that gets them from Gatun Lake to the Pacific... they just cruised in the lake, some folks went ashore (not Allen) and did a trip back to Colon (Cristobal) where they met the ship this afternoon after it went back thru the Gatun Locks again. If you pull up the web cam on the bridge of the ship... you can see Cristobal Panama as they are docked there till 8 pm central.

I was wondering why I never saw the ship sail through. Saw some freighters, but that was about it.

Hello everyone!
Jenna is "doing lunch" with grandma and the babies are in bed! I am loving this nap schedule! I hope we can keep it for a while!

Not much going on today. Just trudging through....

I told you I won a free cup of coffee at Tim Horton's with the Roll up the rim and win contest, right? Yesterday, when I got my FREE cup, I rolled up the rim and won another! I will use it on Friday. The 5th graders are going on a field trip to Cincinnati, Oh. the bus leaves at 545 am, he has to be at the school at 515. By the time I get him to school, I'll have to jump in the shower for work. I'm going to be shorted almost an hours sleep! I'll NEED the caffiene!

I am off to read my book. This is the longest book I have ever read. over 900 pages, but it's GOOD! Talk more later!

The book is called Pillars of the Earth and it's written by Ken Follet. It was one of Oprah's book of the month club reads. It's really good. It's set in the 1100's...would that be midevil times? I was doing really good to find time when I first started to read it, but now my life seems so busy that when I go to bed, I go there to sleep and nothing else! And I am involved in this online chat, with a bunch of great people I am going to take a cruise with, but they are SO talkative! Every night I am on the computer gabbing up a storm with them! WHO has time to read a book??

Thanks! What's funny is when I was pulling away, I said to the girl, "Maybe this one will be a winner too!" And of course, she just gave me the cheesy smile and said, "Have a nice day!"

I NEED MOMMY HELP!!
Connor was invited to a birthday party this weekend. A sleep over, movie night. Sounds like fun to me, BUT he says that he doesn't see this boy at school anymore and doesn't want to go. They used to be in scouts and I think in class together. Now they have sort of grown apart, or he just doesn't feel like he knows him anymore. The mom has emailed me twice and in the last one, said that there was just one boy that is coming. How can I say no to her without hurting the boys feelings? I hate to just send an email saying. Sorry Connor's not coming. I feel like I should say more? whatcha think?

That's a tough one. Have you told her anything at all yet? I think I would say there was a family obligation to attend or something. I would want to try to spare feelings if possible.
