October 11-18, 2008 Eastern Magic-Parrothead Pirates in Paradise! Chapter # 3

Sounds exciting lol, but I have to say that I love getting out there and doing gardening and yard work, just need the weather to do it.



Tomorrow, we are going for tea at the GF, then taking Jenna to the BBB before we do the PPP. A busy day but we are starting out late so a sleep in and swim before we go. We are going to Epcot next week for the garden festival which I am looking forward to. Alec and Jacob have left to see the launch later tonight, we are crossing our fingers that the clouds stay away!! We are having a great time.



Sounds great, lucky girl, a brand new house and you didn't even have to move.

No did it while the kids were in Kindergarten... I chose a green color like an earth tone.. It looks so nice. Bruce is hanging up the mirror now!!!!!!!

UGH!!!! Well, we had booked this villa a good while back and a friend of mine wanted to do WDW so I helped her plan it and she and her family booked this villa the week prior to our arrival. They left the morning of the day we checked in. We prearranged with the owner that any food, cleaning stuff etc. they had would be left behind for us (normally housekeeping would throw everything out.) This was confirmed as being fine. As well, my friend was leaving behind a pirate costume for Jacob to wear to the PPP. So, we arrive early on Sat. and the maid is still here, in her car are boxes of food etc. When we came in, there was nothing left in the fridge or boxes in the garage for us, she said she didn't know what we were talking about (yeah right), spoke little english. Alec made it very clear that what was in her car was ours and to return it to us. She went our to her car and passed him a box of stuff, wine and a full case of unopened beer (we found out later our friends had left us beer and wine for a thank you plus amoung other things, cleaning stuff with notes everywhere). Alec brought those things in and went back out and she was gone, with one of the boxes that had the pirate costume in it amoung other things. Very long story short, we called everyone we could, Alec was hung up on by the owner of the housekeeping and no one took responsibility and the owner stated the maid claims she doesn't have the costume. So if we hadn't of shoen up early that women would have taken everything. Really nice having to explain to the kids that the maid stole Jacob's costume. We are going to go out tomorrow before the PPP and see if we can pick something up.

That would have been smarter but we just plugged along. Wanted to get here, we will only fly from now on. I feel safer flying too, that is a long drive with alot of trucks and people who have no idea how to drive and the weather changing too much. It rained through 3 states.

Yeah we are going to SSR next week, I love the DVC. We stayed at BWV and they didn't leave us shampoo and I forgot mine in the van so Alec called down to get one, they MK came and brought us a huge bag FULL of everything, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotions, gels etc. All I needed was a bottle of shampoo, thats Disney and thats why I love it, great service!!!!

that is so horrible to take something knowing that the people coming know that there will be stuff left behind for them !!!!!! and I agree...what goes around comes around

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend it and I had great kids, if they had of been moody or whiney I would have gone nuts.
