Need to go and take a shower tonight. SInce they are coming sooo early to work tomorrow...UGH!!!!!!!!! Plus, they need to get into the kids bathroom early to work on a mirror inthere. SO, I think it is going to be easier to get my shower in tonight...!!!!!!!!

Well, my contractor called this morning and asked if he could come over and talk to me..

The radiant flooring heat is now backordered 6-8 weeks... UGH!!!!!! So he asked if we wanted to wait and the plumber would have to wait and the project would basically come to a stand still or did we want the baseboard heat and he would give us hardwood floor in our family room as a "compromise" for free and for not getting the heat we want...He said he would give us the best hardwood to make us happy..

Heck, I wanted to get a new rugh in there. But hardwood is AWESOME!!! SO now another room that will be a mess but we are going to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love radiant floor heating and ceramic tiles but thems are the breaks. Can't argue with hardwood flooring though.

We have no idea what to get yet. I'm all over Ebay but probably won't get anything. We want to finish the cruise and also want to firm up the plane tickets

Hey, what is going on with the airline tics. for the cruise anyways?? What did DCL say????!!!!!!!!!

well basicaly DCL appologized for what Dreams put us through and told us to just book it ourselves and try not use Dreams unless we have to! let's just say I'm NOT happy with them at the moment

Well, the addition will have the tile and the family room will have the rug pulled up and now will have the hardwood.

We ended up with light oak in our livingroom but maple was a close second. If I had to do it over again I would go with bamboo. Kristin that's a hint for your contractor

I can run down stairs and look it is in my dining room piled up right now!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!! The mess this house is in!!!!!!!!!!
I believe it is a light oak.. Very nice he told us it has a 50 year guarantee...

As for things to get for the Wii...I think we have it all! LOL One thing that Steve got that we really like is the rechargeable controller stand. It comes with the stand, batteries and new backs so you don't have to remove the old ones to charge it. It's something like Nyko. I am sure once you search you'll find them.

My grandmother turned 87 today. I might be able to go and see her at the end of the month. She and my grandfather moved to Utah nearly 30 years ago and my grandmother has moved back to Ohio this last week to live with her son/my uncle. Now instead of being a full day's flight away, she is just a 2.5 hours drive.

The dryer just stopped and I am ready for bed. I'll see you all tomorrow! Have a good night!

Very nice... I have always liked oak. Ours is hickory... for us it works very nicely because we have all KINDS of different wood finishes on our furniture (family antiquey stuff).

Oh my gosh hickory is what we have in our dining room soo funny you say that.. I love family pieces of furniture we have some pieces like that and I love them.. Such meaning... I think we may do that type in our family room. THe light oak is for our bedroom...!!!!! Stil have to pick the family room out!!!!!!!!!

I love family pieces too! We moved furniture around after my MIL died (she lived with us for 4 yrs) and I just love having her things around me. She was so dear to me... we were closer by far than my own mom and I. Sweet sweet lady for sure... it feels cozy having her antique sewing machine/table in my bedroom, you know?
