OOOH,, I want some now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT sounds GREAT.. Can I use regular flour??

No it has to be self rising....I am sure there has to be a substitute out there for if you don't have self rising flour. It would have to have either baking soda or baking powder and maybe salt....

Here ya go Kristin, you can try this...

Substitutions
There is no substitute for self-rising flour, but you can easily make your own out of all-purpose flour. To make 1 cup of self-rising flour, take 1 cup all-purpose flour and add 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Based on those measurements, for 3 Cups you would need....

3 Cups of regular flour
4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Okay, I hope i am not going to get too confusing with this....

when you make the self rising flour, you will have more dry ingredients then the recipe calls for. So, since you are going to ADD 6 teaspoons of dry ingredients to the 3 cups of flour, you should remove 6 teaspoons of flour, then add your baking powder and salt...then you'll have a total of 3 Cups even, not 3 cups plus 6 teaspoons. Does that make sense?

and, 6 teaspoons equals 2 tablespoons...so when you measure the regular flour, you'll have 3 cups LESS 2 tablespoons. Then add the BP and Salt giving you an even 3 cups of ingredients.

I hope I haven't just totally confused you!!

Hello all!!!!!
I hope everyone is having a great day!!!
I'm so sorry I left you all last night.....my DBIL came over and he needed to borrow our color printer, so he brought a flashdrive to plug into the computer so I had to get off...Ugh....I need another computer!!!!!

thanks Gina's handsome hubby Alec! :) those prices are really good from what we've seen so far! I'll let Denis know about these for sure!!!

OK for anyone interested I did hear back from Carol. All we can do is tell DU we are not interested in having them add the air to our travel plans. We cannot change TA's, apparantly we do not own our ressie's and Disney is putting a halt to it because too many people are changing TA's over and over again.
DU says they cannot add the air, DCL has to. DCL tells us they can't do it because DU owns our ressie. They then collectivly tell me to have a magical day...

Have fun!! Our neighborhood has a bunco group. Steve is never off when they play, and although I could play with a dummy...or one of the other neighbors that might come alone, I usually don't go. The one time I did play, it was TONS of fun!!!

Enjoy the chocolates!!!! We didn't get any again today. I am really starting to think the postman is eating them!
