Good Morning everyone! the bad part about going to bed early, is that the dogs want UP early! LOL They woke me at 645! Won't sleep in tomorrow either as we'll do the Walmart shopping and make a Sams run! If I want to do both of those, then I need to go to early service at 830.

Kristin, how is your leg today? I hopoe it's getting better. I read that Jelly Beans are the best cure for a bug bite!

Denis, any word from DU or DCL? What a mess.... and I actually laughed at your puss and peanut butter cups in the same sentence! I have often said, Nothing fazes me after having kids. I can change a poopy diaper with one hand while eating a sandwich with the other!

Heard a chainsaw and a chipper in the neighborhood this morning, so I walked up to see if they would want to remove an evergreen from our front yard. It's actually right up against the front of the garage and just too big for the space it's in. $50 and 10 mins later, it's gone! Now I just need to think of what I want to put in it's place. I am thinking of putting a few patio stones and getting one of those HUGE planters you can get at Sams, and just adding a bunch of plants to it. We'll see.....

Nothing planned for today....probably catching up on laundery and cleaning house...again...for the 3rd time this week. Colton and Connor are okay, but Steve still sounds HORRIBLE. I told him to just call his boss and come home if it's too much. He said, I will. but he's so dedicated, he's got to be dying before he comes home!

Colton got a Zelda game for the wii...they have already started. I better make them eat breakfast soon, or they'll forget about it!

Good morning cruisers. Today is Nancy's sleep in day. Kids got me up at 7, already had breaky, 2 coffees, cooked up a stack of pancakes. Ya know, even the dog is still sleeping...thought I'd throw that in there

Well, in the middle of Zelda, the request for pancakes has been uttered. I guess I better get cookin'!

Denis, soon the kids will be sleeping in and the dog will get you up...at least, that is what has happend in our house. The dogs got up at 645, the boys didn't move until nearly 9!

Well, in the middle of Zelda, the request for pancakes has been uttered. I guess I better get cookin'!

Denis, soon the kids will be sleeping in and the dog will get you up...at least, that is what has happend in our house. The dogs got up at 645, the boys didn't move until nearly 9!

Our dog is lazy! Last spring break Nancy and the kids went to her folks for the week. The first day I had to carry little pooch outside at 6am. She was too groggy to do anything, just looked at me with this confused look, never did her buisness. I had to come home for lunch break and try again. That night I brought her to my parents and told my mom, there you go she's yours for the week!

Denis, soon the kids will be sleeping in and the dog will get you up...at least, that is what has happend in our house. The dogs got up at 645, the boys didn't move until nearly 9!

My son is going on 15 and he still wakes up at 6:45!!! So do my dogs! Luckily I can ignore the kid.

and the kid should take care of the dog! that's what I always tell my boys...if, for WHATEVER reason, you get up before me, TAKE OUT THE DOGS! That way, I can at least sleep in ONCE every 6 months! LOL

Have any of you heard of, or used, products from Tastefully Simple? Their products are yummy, but a little pricey. the lady I sit for has started to sell it, just for her own discount really. I ordered a few things from her the other day, and we had the Raspberry Divine Dessert Sauce on our pancakes! YUM-O!!! I think I'll have to buy a cheesecake tomorrow to use it on! that would be wonderful...or crepes! I am getting hungery just thinking about what I can put it on!

I know! that's why I have not bought a lot of it. After I had bought COUNTLESS numbers of beer bread mix, someone let me in on a secret. There is a SIMPLE recipe for it.

3 Cups self rising flour
1 Cup sugar
1 can beer
3 tablespoons melted butter

Mix flour, sugar and beer in bowl. Pour into greased loaf pan. pour melted butter over top of dough. Bake in 350 over for about 45 mins or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Their beer bread mix is what? $6 a box? I can make A LOT of bread with just a few inexpensive ingredients!

Maybe I'll make a loaf today. The boys LOVE it!

What's everyone up to today? With us it is all up in the air. We are going to the store to pay our washer and dryer. It feels like we just got them but apparantly it's been a year already so better pay them off before finance charges kick in. I need to take my work car in for its emission test. And then I think Nancy wants to do some shopping but can't remember lol

I love Tastefully Simple. The Beer bread, the pound cake, the cheese balls, all Yum-O!!!!!!!!!!!! I have quite a bit of it in my pantry right now. Hmmmm, maybe I should go check it out and make something.

My kids are gone now, so dh and I are going light shopping. Yippee! At least we won't freeze, it's almost 30 today.
