Morning Kristen! I'm home today trying to beat this crud! There are so many people at work with same thing and no one is staying home long enough to get over it and we are all sharing it. It's awful. My doc said it's harder to get over than the flu. I had the flu shot.

I think that is the problem so many people who do not stay home long enough!! Your like the fifth person who has told me that they have had a flu shot and they still get it..>!!!!!!!!!!!>

It's really not the flu... it's upper respiratory, my problem is I don't feel that bad.. flu will knock you completely off your feet for more than a day or two. Mine is all in my lungs and only a very low grade fever... the most I've had is 99.6

Hi Sandra! I really hope you get over this quickly so you can have your surgery!! I started another cold yesterday, well not really a cold more like the sniffles but still annoying LOL I think this is cold #3 for me this year!!! I usually don't get this many....

This is my third or fourth round also... I think stress has a lot to do with immune system being out of whack and with what we went thru loosing Mom and trying to keep everything else going (my work is stressful also)... I think I'm just down in the immune system. Pain from shoulder was going on for about a year, but I knew I could not take the time to be down with her sick and so it got hold of me pretty good, then her death, in the process of settling her estate (along with Allen helping me) it's still a lot of pressure and stress. Hopefully, things will level out soon and I can get back to "normal".. (what is normal?????) I am normally never sick but maybe once a year... other than the "usual aging things"!!!!!

We all had our flu shots, but we also use a ton of antibacterial and do some winter isolation so we can try to stay healthy. The few times Sean has had a cold it lasted 4-6 weeks and we have had surgeries postponed a few times because of it.

Off to prepare for piano lessons for the boys, and acting class for Kaj this afternoon! (tuesday is our busy day)...

go eat some chicken soup and lots of fluids... my dad always said it helped.

Laughing outloud on the mask! The chicken soup does seem to help if you are stuffy.. and it certainly helps sore throats! I'm drinking about 6-8 16 oz bottles of water per day...

so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom, and I know it is stressful it is...I lost my father last summer. Stessful jobs are no fun either and not good for your health just like you said. Now you must get better!!
