Nope, looks like pink will be the color of the day!! I found a new Michaels tonight, but to late to go looking. I am going tomorrow I hope. Looking for a pink visor or something for me too!!
We will be dubbed as the twins lol

Nope I'll be sticking out like a soar thumb.
Have you decided where you are staying the night before the cruise? We are staying at the Country inn and suites. We wanted a port view from the room but as it turns out, Allen the sneaky pirate will be there as well so we will start trying to know each other before we all board the ship. A lot of people are staying close to each other, I'm sure it will turn into a street party lol
I was talking to my BIL the TA the other day, and he is telling me the Radisson has a $99 per night deal on right now...Figures, after we have all decided to try Country Inn & Suites....

I ended up getting us into the Radisson, but not on the $99 deal... we wanted to try the select comfort beds as our bed needs replacing, BADLY... figured it would be a good chance to try it out before we buy it. Decided to stay a few days before the cruise so I can rest up from the Drive from Idaho, and that way can take our astronaut wannabee to the space center.

That's too funny. We got our room for 89 dollars but it is a plain room since they don't have any of the family theme rooms facing the port. I really didn't care where we stayed as long as Nancy had her port view but I like the Country inn and Suites.

Oh I like that idea, pretty crafty and that's one of the things you cannot cheap out on :) We did 10 years with a cheap bed and didn't even realise what we were doing to ourselves. We bought a new one last year and we have slept great and eliminated all the sores and backaches.

We have stayed at the Radisson 3 times and it was great every time. Just wanted to do something different this time. But I was just looking at the CIS site and the cheapest thing they have is $144...:scared1: The Radisson has rooms for $99 & $129 for a cruise package! Maybe we should rethink this CIS - Radisson thing......:scared1:

Maybe I should call and ask if they have any deals.........

Off to bed. I get to sleep in for a little while! See ya'll tomorrow.

Same here. The kids found the strategically hidden box of pancake mix earlier so I am sure we will be awakened in about 6 hours :( Night all

Good morning everyone:thumbsup2

It's a big day here in our household.... In the AM were starting our chocolate manufacturing. I'll be on packaging duty, since Michelle wont let me near the chocolate (cause I'll eat it).
In the PM my sister is coming over to make cabbage rolls with Michelle , apparently she has a secret recipe. Yeh!

Gina,
I was back down in your neck of the woods yesterday visiting a client at the bottom of Shoal Point. I read an earlier post where you were talking about living in TO. We lived at Avenue Rd. and Lawerence before moving to the burbs. Love the area, but a little crazy with traffic.
I also meant to ask you which airline you are flying with from Buffalo to MCO in Oct. The reason I ask is were starting to plan our August SSR & AKL stay and I was pricing flight. Some of them were crazy $. Looking for suggestion from anyone for a flight from Buffalo to MCO in August.

It appears to be a beautiful morning here north of Toronto(sun shining, not snowing). I'm going to make myself another Tassimo coffee and spend some quality time with baby Rebecca while Michelle gets some sleep. And catch up on my DISboard reading.:surfweb:

HI all... Hope everyone has a GREAT Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be great! I didn't think about MrBeast and PinkyBoy being able to check on the flights! I would just hate for us to miss it! I wouldn't think there would be more then one or 2 flights over Maho Beach in a day, so we want to make sure we don't miss!

I am looking at ticket prices for the parks...I should be cleaning my house! I am debating on....

A) Just get a one day ticket and enjoy one park.
B) Get a one day park hopper and hit at least 2 if not 3 parks.
C) Get a one day ticket and a MNSSHP ticket...but the cost of a one day hopper would be about the same.

Our dilemma is, there is NEW stuff! DHS will have the Toy Story Mania and American Idol...and for the kid in us, a new Playhouse Disney. EPCOT will have the new Spaceship Earth and the GREAT resturants in World Showcase! MK has the updated Haunted Mansion. AK...we aren't HUGE fans and I really would not be "too" disappointed if we missed it all together. We've road Everest twice too. I don't want to do 3 parks in one day, BUT it could be done if we just hit the new stuff! I know EPCOT is open late that day. I wonder who has the AM EMH? We could do about 5 hours in each park......

I completely understand your dilemma, I too want to try all the new stuff. If you get a PH and start out early enough you can hop to each park and do the new rides quickly then choose the park you want to spend the most time in and end with that one and enjoy the day/night but if you start your day out that early you would be pretty tired for the MNSSHP.

Hello, all! Still trying to catch up on al that I have missed in the thread while we were in WDW this past week, but I am hopefully going to successfully share some pix of our new kitchen at the new house (minus my "special" touches added, like curtains, etc.), as well as some pix from our trip. Here goes:
Kristin, SOOOO glad to hear you are getting back to normal and that the Dr. gave you a good report...Keep feeling well!

Love the pics, your sitchen looks great and the kids look very happy at WDW!!

Well, we are checking in October 9, so going back Sept, Aug, July, June, May, April 9? That's 6 months, but I am sure there might be a few extra days....3 more days for Aug, July and May...so maybe about the 6th of April? And for you the 5th? I am going to have to get a calendar out to check for sure.

Did I already ask here....anyone have opinions on The Yachtmans Steak House?

Alec and I ate there for our 10th anniversary trip (with no kids!!). It was good, food was just like Le Cellier or the Concorse Steakhouse though. Service was great, our server gave us a Anniversary dessert with Happy anniversary written in Chocolate, it was a nice touch.

Gang
I sent Michelle a PM but I am going to say this to everyone. Read the package the sheets come in. Do not print them through a laser printer, only through an inkjet. We use these magnetic sheets at work and had to buy an inkjet printer just for these. Trust me on this I use about 50 sheets a month on virtual job boards.

Thanks for the warning!!!

You were real close!!! We usually use Southwest, not sure if they have their August fares out yet theough. We generally pay anywhere from $59-$69 each way. Sometimes $89 is the best depending on the time of year. If you haven't already, download their DING! program, it will let you know when they are having DING! fares and you can save $$$. All our bookings have been a DING!. We haven't booked for Oct. yet, the fares for SW haven't been released yet.
Flying out of BUF is so much cheaper then YYZ and less hassle too as you clear customs at the border so when you get off the plane you are outta there!!!

Update on the dining:

We have about 50 people who want to sit near each other for diner. Look out DCL the DIS will have over taken the dining room....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!
I hope you all have a better day then us! I have one boy pukin' and one boy poopin'! UGH! At least they are old enough to take care of business themselves, I just follow up with the bleach!

I have the chocolates packaged and ready to go to the postoffice! :thumbsup2 The boys were NOT involved with the packaging of the chocolates and were on another floor of the house, so I really think they are safe from germs!

Steve put the cabash on my park hpping. He wants to just do one park and then enjoy the evening with a swim in the pool. :beach: But I don't know if we'll even get to that! I think we are going to do Yachtmans on Thursday night after our arrival. Then Kona for breakfast on Friday. Still not sure which park we are going to go to, but it looks like it might be DHS (that's still hard to type) since they have the most new stuff, then we can do Brown Derby for dinner and see Fantasmic! :smickey: Saturday before the cruise, I think we might do Spoodles for breakfast. We've never been to Yachtmans or Kona, and I'd really like to find a few others we've not done too. Maybe we should do Chef Mickey's ::MickeyMo instead of Spoodles....hhmmm....more decisions! (can you tell I am indecisive?) :scratchin Of course, if we do the Magic Kingdom, we could do Crystal Palace for breakfast pooh: and then maybe the Spirit of Aloha for dinner. Then do Kona on Saturday for breakfast. HELP! :confused3

Off to get my shower and head to the post office! Have a good day!

Definately going to download the DING (thanks)!
Our group of 9 is leaving from TO on the friday at about 8:30am. I think I mentioned to you before we are flying with AirCanada (which I'm not a fan of), but our TA booked it for us and the advantage I found over going from Buffalo was it included transfer to the port on the saturday morning which was a big savings. Flight cost per person was about $400 taxes in. They also guarantee to get you on the boat should there be any problems with flights (since its booked thru DCL).
After we check in to the hotel, we'll head over to WDW for about 2 or 3pm for MNSSHP. We did it last year and stayed until midnight. Made for a very long, but great day. We walked onto to almost every ride. Got lots of candy. Watched both parade and fireworks (amazing). Totally worth it.
Michelle is not going to come. She will stay at the Hyatt with the baby and relax. (it would be to much for her and Rebecca).
Definately keep us posted on your flight info.

Alex

Did your TA say anything about the families that booked with different TA's to get near each other. Can you send me the time and rotation again so I can follow up with our TA.

Alex,

When I asked her what info. I needed she told me to start compiling a list and then as it got closer we would need to get confirmation numbers and then DCL will be able to make sure that we are all linked together so we can all be seated at tables near each other...

We are requesting the PLA rotation so I think we should all make sure that whoever you are booked with has this request. Also, your TA should have the request of what family you want seated at your specific table. Then as it gets closer we will make sure that all of our tables are located in one area of the dining room.....

Have,, I confused you enough already????

Sounds like that dining room is gonna have no idea what hit it!!!!!!!!!!!

My dh started showing more interest last night in the group (he loves our vacations, but just goes along with what I plan). He said at dinner last night he hopes some of the guys want to hang out and drink some beers. Any of you guys up for that invite???

Oh Michelle, so sorry about your boys, that does NOT sound like a fun day!!!!

Alex, are you all going back to the Hyatt to stay the night on Friday? We'll be there too, but not until late. I haven't figured out how to get us to the port yet.
