I've had a headache and felt dizzy for the last couple of days, maybe if I started drinking it would go away???

LOL!!!!!!!!!

I can't blame my headache on booze, just have one. I am going to head out to a bridge over our main highway, they are bringing one of our fallen soldiers home and it has become a custom to line the bridges with people, police, firefighters etc and wave our Canadian Flags in honour. Unfortunately, it seems to happen to frequently.

Had a great time today with my presentation at the hospital (sharing about family centered care with the new nurses)...

Sean loves stuffed critters, especially webkinz! He is trying to collect all the frogs and reptiles that he can... LOL! AND he sleeps with them every night! I told him that he will have to choose just one or two to bring with him on the trip, or there wont be room in the beast for the rest of us...

Webkinzs are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Then the kids wanted to stop @ my parents house to show them their build a bears... So then we ended up staying for dinner and just getting home right now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have any pics of their bears? I wouldnt mind seeing what they look like

I had to stay home today for the Pest Control guy...gotta get rid of those stupid Polmetto bugs And the annoying ants due to the rain they are everywhere! My hubby is deathly afraid of them and he will even admit that he screams like a girl and runs the other way when he sees them The other day he had to share the shower with one (it was hiding in the shower curtain And he said that he ran out of there like a mad man Then the next day it was back there again So he made me buy a new shower curtain (yes he is that scared of them). I told him that I made sure it was the Roach free kind of shower curtain but on the gauretee it says that the warranty is null and void once you get it home and hang it up I called pest control and they were out there today, I made sure that they sprayed in the shower

Just got off the phone with my Dad. Today is his 60th Birthday!!

I haven't looked at Candy's thread yet, but I will when I get back.

Have to go and flip the wash and put the sheets back on the bed!

OMG I have seen those things. They are the only bugs I have ever screamed for. OMG some of those things are huge And good luck killing them. We used to have them where we lived b4 this house. And I can't tell you how glad I am that they did not move with us.

Thanks! He has had a sort of rough year. He was laid off of work in January, but got a 6 month severance package. He took a job with another company, but told the boss off and walked out! My Dad used to work for American Greetings, he used to print greeting cards, then he went to work for Ernst and Young, he printed forms, letterheads, business cards and even their Christmas Cards. But in January, E&Y decided to outsource everything, leaving my Dad at 59 years of age and no job. When he took the last job, it was for a small company that really didn't give 2 cents about it's employees. So after a few months of mulling around the house and not doing much of anything, he decided to start his own business! They live in Bay Village and he is now, The Village Handyman. Basically, he can do all those little odds and ends that you can't do yourself, or don't have time to do! He's learned how to work a computer, spreadsheets, scheduling etc. Even set up his own bank acct with debit card! I asked him if he took today off and he said yes! I said, See it's good to the boss. And he said, Yeah, but sometimes he can be a real <male body part> I burst out laughing! You have to know my Dad!!

Back to check on the sheets again.....they got all balled up in the dryer and I had to restart them...I hate that!!!
