Randy and the girls are getting up early to help clean up one of our local parks, so I will be home alone the first part of the day......and tomorrow night Shannon and I are going to a friends house to visit!!!!

In the morning Bruce has to replace the light in our pool and that is it. Making Texas Salsa for the :

Here is the recipe for Texas Salsa. Enjoy!

1 can black eyed peas drained
1 can corn drained
1 can black beans drained

1 orange pepper finely chopped
1 small bermuda onion finely chopped
1 4 oz. jar pimento chopped
1 jalapeno pepper diced small

Mix it all together.

DRESSING:

1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup sugar

Heat over stove until sugar dissolves, and pour over salsa.

ENJOY!


I think my mom is going to come over and hang out by the pool with us since it is going to be in the high 90's then she and my dad will stay and watch the kids for us...My dad is going out with his friend to take pictures tomorrow morning so she'll be alone. She sounded better when I just spoke with he a little bit ago!!!!!!!!!!
