Whazzuuppp!?!?!??! I am trying out a new laptop that we bought for one of my nieces that will starting college at MTSU this fall. Her birthday is this week also. The only thing I don't like about it is it has Windows Vista, and it's not mine!!!!

I have Vista on this machine, and now that I seem to have gotten past all my compatability issues, it doesn't bother me anymore.

Leftovers for dinner (making enchiladas out of lemon chicken and some hand made tortillas I picked up at Trader Joe's when we were in Seattle)

I think I might have to agree with Nancy on this one! I did find these recipes for it, but not for Macaroni and Cheese Loaf from the deli....

This reminds me of a recipe I saw in an old children's cookbook: Macaroni, Cheese and Baloney Manicotti.

The instructions went something like:

make macaroni and cheese according to directions on blue box,
assemble rolls of a single slice of baloney with 4-5 Tbs of mac and cheese inside each,
place rolls in shallow casserole dish,
cover with one can of (condensed) broccoli cheese soup,
bake at 350 until warm and bubbly.

The real Mac & Cheese loaf is actually MEATLOAF, with Mac & Cheese inside it. Recipe may be off due to fuzzy memory.

Mac & Cheese portion
1 package Mac & Cheese
1/4 Cup milk
1/4 cup butter
Make according to directions on package.

Meatloaf portion
1 1/2 lb Ground Beef
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Put all meatloaf ingredients in a gallon sized freezer bag and seal. Now mix together contents of bag thoroughly.
Put 1/2 to 2/3 the contents of the bag into a greased loaf pan.
Press into the bottom of the pan until about a 1/4 inch thick on the bottom and then up the sides of the pan to form a well.
Pour prepared Mac & Cheese into well until just below the top of the meat. Not all of the Mac & Cheese will be used.
Use remaining meat to cover Mac & Cheese making sure to seal it in completely.
Bake in 350 degree oven for about 35 minutes.
After pulling from oven let sit at least 5 minutes, preferebly 10 to let things "set" so the contents do not ooze everywhere.

Well, we haven't won the grocery/gas gift card, and we didn't win the furniture either. Colton jumped in front of me for the shower, so I guess I will head there now...inbetween drawings. The stories they are telling are TEARING me up!! Oh my!! I can't even fathom what these families have to go through!!!! Did you know that operation costs for St Jude is $1.2 Million a DAY! It just floors me. Okay....off to get cleaned up!!!! BRB!

WOW! Where did eveyone go?? We didn't win a thing! OH well. I think next year the house is going to be built in Morgantown, WV. WHICH, on one hand, I wouldn't want to live there because it is further North and they get snow, lots of snow there. On the other hand, that is where WVU is located and Connor is for sure wanting to go to school there...so having our home there might be nice! We'll see...that's a year off for that!

Waiting for a storm cell to pass and then we are heading off to A.C. Moore to get a photo frame. Might check out Target too, since we'll be there....although I really don't NEED anything. ACMoore has a 25% off your entire order in the paper this morning too!! Bonus!!!

No, nothing. I heard from the doctor. He knew right away what it was. He said it is a form of the hand foot and mouth milder but still a virus in the same family. He said once the blisters come out like that she is no longer contagious, but it is very painfull. I told him that is why I was calling he gave her Tylenol with Codeine for @ night time to help her sleep and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Michelle, sorry you didn't win... but the donation will go to a very good cause. I saw the pics of the boys on the last chapter... they are very handsome guys! I've been reading the beginning to this chapter, but did not try to finish the last one. I just can't seem to get to this every day like I did when I was not working. Got the cc paid off this week, so I'm ready to put the balance of the cruise on it! We have our "Pre-cruise" party next weekend at my niece's house. Can't wait!

The blisters on Kritter's little one's fingers sound painful... hope the tylenol three helps. Bless her heart. What is it coming from?

Sounds like an allergic reaction to something to me......

This is just a thought but my kids get blisters on their fingertips when they play with dandelions, I think it is the white milky part that bothers them.

It's been kind of a bummer today ALL of my babies left!!!!
It's just Randy and me for a couple of weeks!!!! I'm sure going to miss my girls!!!!

On a good note, I told you all that we were able to get the wii fit.............well, we also have the Wii now too!!!!!!!!! We don't have to wait for it!!! We got an email from Toys R Us that said there was a problem with processing our order.......well when Randy went to the store to buy wii fit, he noticed they had Wii's for sale. So we cancelled our order and he went back to the store to by the Wii!!!!!! We are going to try out the wii fit tonight!!!
