My parish has its major fall fundraiser this weekend. So in addition to working I will be spending a lot of time at the church. I'm on my stewardship committee abnd we always do this fundaraiser. Spaghetti supper tmorrow night, and a hug raffle to take place on Sun. after the last Mass. Almost 200 items being raffled off. Its very popular.

Junkanoo is a Bahamian tradition. They celebrate their african american heritage on Christmas Night at Midnight. Thanks to Wikipedia...here is the full story! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junkanoo It was probably the most intersting part of the tour that day. The boys have talked about it several times!!!

Thatr was really fun. A great intro to the island and the ppl. We really had a much better time on the tour than i thought we would. I'll have to start uploading all our shots.

Remember where you were sitting in the festival place when I saw you? You were looking at all the masks and stuff they use for a New Year's celebration.

yes I saw those but trying to keep an eye on 2 boys is not an easy task!!!!!! so there's no way I could go and check those out while Denis was gone for a few minutes
