Hi, all
Sorry I haven't posted much. I have been working out of town quite a bit to pay for this cruise. I am home this week trying to get everything ready to go. As you can tell I get up early to check my mail and try and post some to the group. I really appreciate you all letting up join at the last minute. I had just found your thread as I was checking the boards. I hope to get to know all of you better and hope that my son will get to me your kids. Being an only child he has a hard time meeting others.

Just wanted to tell you guys have a great time.

We were originally booked on this cruise but cancelled since I was outvoted and the kids and DH wanted to do the parks instead.

We leave on the 18th for WDW.

We did a 7 night Western last November and plan to cruise again on one of the new ships. Here's hoping for a fun time and great weather for all you parrothead Pirates .

Parks over a cruise?!?!?!? That can be a tough choice sometimes. You know you will have a great time!!! Thanks for the well wishes, and y'all have a great time as well!!!

Hello everyone! The car is all packed and I am ready to go. I'm shocked at how much I have put off to today. I'm going to do a once through the house unplugging and turning off, run through the bank (I never made it there yesterday.), stop by the local Yoder's Bakery and pick up snacks for the trip, top off my gas, drop by the post office to have them hold my mail and be to Merkie's school by 2:00. They said it would not affect her attendance if I pick her up any time after two, so we are aiming for 2:01!

I'll post from our hotel tonight if possible. If not, everyone else who is leaving out be safe and I'll see everyone at the port.

I am getting my hair done later this morning!! I have my piles going now in the guest bedroom!! It's nice to be able to put that extra room to more use!!!! LOL

Phew....actually have some down time AND a computer! LOL

well, the spilling of drinks continues, last night the Dew, this morning, Connor bumped the dogs water bowl, freshly filled and I had to get that cleaned up, then I decided to head to Timmies for a French Vanilla, large....I went to put it in the cup holder, some how missed and sent it careening into the floor of my truck! AHHHHHH!! I hadn't even left the window yet. Thankfully, they gave me another one! SO aggrivating. I ended up running back to the house, got out my carpet shampooer, and sucked a good bit of it out with that, but most of it, I am afraid, is between the seat and the center consol, where the seat rail is. I'll have to work on it some more later.

Since I have 2 hours or so, I guess I'll go back and see if I've missed anything!!

I didn't realize until last night, how much the boys DIDN'T know about this trip! they were all full of questions in the car, so I said, "Okay, Let me start from the beginning! Please hold all questions and comments until the end!" I then went through our entire itinerary including meals. They really had no idea!

Tonight will be dedicated to laundery, packing the boys clothes, and gathering the last minute details.

"The Boy" is up from his nap. better get him before he wakes his sister!

Cruise question

How much cash do you guys bring? I know some ones for tips, and I assume most island stores take Visa?? I barely spend any cash at WDW but this is a different kinda trip.

Speaking of the islands. I think this was mentioned before, so if I'm being redundant, I apologize. Do not forget to call you credit card company to let them know you will be out of the country so that they do not flag any charges as potential fraud.

I'm not carrying too much cash, since I will charge almost everything. I did find out that there is a three percent surcharge on my Disney VISA for international charges that I didn't know about.
