I collect snowmen too! I also have a village, but it hasn't been up in about 4 years, we get busy and it takes soooooooooooo darn long to set it all up and even longer to take it all down.

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in a while. I have broken my right hand (and I am right hand dominate), and everything is so hard to do. I am typing with one finger from my left hand and it takes for ever.

I did want to get on to let you guys know that we have officially tried Spam. Mom came over and cooked for us last night. We have been eating every meal out because I can't cook with just my left hand. I had the Spam in the cabinet and she said that we used to eat it when we were little, but that she hadn't made it in years. She fried it and served it with gravy and hash browned potatoes and made biscuits from scratch. It really was good. Merkie liked it a lot.

I can't believe how much you guys have added since the cruise. I feel left out since I don't have a cruise planned at all now.

Busy day!! Had 73 trick or treaters. About average. We have NEVER had trick or treat on the weekends. If it falls on the weekend, we just have it on Thursday or Monday. they say it cuts down on vandalism. who knows if that's really true? Oh and also, who would dare to interupt Friday Night High School Football?? That is probably the real reason!!

I would love to see everyone's christmas decor! I am not really sure what we are going to do this year. We are leaving for Hilton Head on the 27th. I usually put up 2 trees, but maybe this year, just one. then I could maybe have it all put away before we leave. then I won't have to come back from vacation and have to put all the vacation stuff and the christmas stuff away and then be back to work and school.

Holy smokes, there is station in the Twin Cities at $1.99 a gallon. The stations by my house should be there by Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's nice to save over $30+ per tank! Especially with 2 cars who drive a minimum of 52 and 70 miles per day!

OMG I feel for you. Right now I drive 7 minutes to work. 11 minutes if I go through the Timmies drive through. We are holding out to stay here as long as possible
