Good Morning Everyone!

You have been busy here this weekend!

I skimmed through the posts and I am glad you ended the evening with the beautiful birthday pictures...it helped erase the memories of those nasty feet! :scared:

My friend's move went well. She has surgery on Thursday but that is good news because it took a while to diagnose her so the sooner the better (she is having a bypass on 2 arteries).

Michele - Hope you had a great Birthday!:bday:
Did you get a room at the Hard Rock? I called late one night and there was nothing available at all 3 hotels. The next morning I called and they had every room type from garden view to club level available. She said they open up blocks of rooms periodically so mornings seem like the best time to call.
Also, I couldn't figure out how to PM you to confirm that we would like to be added to the tag list, so I just wanted to confirm on the board with you that we do want to play! :yay:

Have a great day - I better get to work! :)

Laura

Laura, thank you for the Birthday Wishes!!!
I have not forgotten to add you to the list for Tag!
I HAVE forgotten to call The Hard Rock. I'll try this afternoon. I am just hoping they will simply transfer my ressie and charge me the difference instead of canceling, crediting and rebooking. It seems like it would be an easy thing to do.

I said I would post some pictures from MNSSHP 2006. Here are a few from the parade:

Toronto is the first on the tour, it is downtown from 6-9am and you can win a trip for 4 to WDW. Sounds great but I do not think I can get down there that early on a Wed. My mom works downtown so I will get her to fill out a ballot for us.

Great pics!!! We are going to MNSSHP on the Tuesday before the cruise, we just got a room at the Beach Club Villas for the night. We are at Vero Beach for the week before but we don't want to drive back after the party so we will stay there for the evening and then the kids can also enjoy the swimming pool. Whoo hoo!!! Thank goodness for our DVC points!!

Okay guys, who has sailed on Carnival?

One of the local high schools is taking the Senior class on a 7 night cruise on Carnival for their Senior trip. The principal is a good friend of mine and one of my other friend's daughter is senior there. Tonight, at the festival, the three of us were talking and Estill, the principal, said that they were having trouble getting teachers to agree to go with them as chaperones. They have to have an adult to every so many kids. He asked if I would go and help out. The school would pay for the transportation to and from the port and the actually cruise. I am talking a free cruise here !!!!!!!!!!! I am just worried about Merkie (she will be 11 at the time) on Carnival with it having the reputation as being a party ship. What do you guys thinK?

We sailed on Carnival two years ago and enjoyed it very much. A lot depends on the length of the cruise. The shorter cruises are less expensive and tend to draw a younger crowd, hence the party ship reputation. We took an 8-day cruise out of New York and the crowd was no different than a Disney cruise. The only real differences we found was of course there is a casino on board and there is smoking allowed in some areas, which we ended p avoiding. The food was good and so was the service.

Hey Everyone...

Just stopping in for a quick Hello post before I start in doing more cruise work...I have to copy our passports to have, then I have to look for a housing for my camera so that I might be able to use it underwater at CC, Then I need to finish lableing a few more FE gifts (did most of them last night...labeling them I mean with room numbers and names). I need to order my baskets and then last but not least I need to pack some more stuff :goodvibes :goodvibes Im going to be busy today but stuff I am happy to get done ;)

Just to let everyone know...I will print up some extra layouts of the cruise ship for those who wish to have some...I am also going to print out some extra FE lists for anyone in case anyone happens to either misplace or forget theirs.....I also have one that I made up that has everyone organized by room number ;) For any who might one one of those....So I will print up extra's to bring on the ship for anyone who might need them

Hope everyone is having a good day...I will be back on later :flower3:

I am home and my house is SPOT FREE!!! YEAH! I think Koz is going to be okay!!!!! :thumbsup2 Boiling him some chicken...and I think the boys and I will have some too! Then I won't have to cook for us!

Going to work on my FE gifts. I am starting to think I should mail them to the ship, but we are putting some candy in the bags. I am thinking that would be taboo, since it sort of is food?
