I booked it through Disney as one of the excursions they offered.

OH! I thought maybe you had booked with a tour operator on the island. that might be different. You'll have to ask the DCL guide about dropping out. I don't know!

I knew so little about what the dog is doing beyond vomiting a lot that he said there could be many reasons for his vomiting. He said that he hoped you did call the local vet there and take your dog in. Better safe than sorry.

Michele, did you call the vet this morning??

Just made apple fritter doughnuts for breakfast::

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup plus 1 Tablespoon Milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 medium cooking apples (cored, peeled, and sliced into 8 wedges)
In a bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar. In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Dip apples into the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with hot maple syrup or confectioners sugar.

Serves: 8

You guys kill me with all the cooking. I stay hungry when I'm on here. I toasted a bagel. Was out of cream cheese and had to eat it with Peanutbutter.

You probably could. But I am not sure when you pay for the tour, so I would make sure he is paid, and it wouldn't hurt to tell him that you will find your own way back...that way, if he does a head count, he won't be looking for you!

Disney charges the excursions to your on board account. I would definitely tell them that I was leaving and tip them. We will probably be doing this.

Guys, this won't affect me because I'll be at Topsiders, but someone posted on the general forum that they called to request the latest seating on the early dinning and was told that Disney will no longer be doing the staggard seating on the Magic. She was told all early seating is at 5:45 and all late seating is 8:15. I don't know if this is accurate, I'm just passing it on to you guys because I had not seen anyone mention it on here.

I heard of this too on the main board yesterday!!!!!!!!! I wonder how that will work out??????

Kristin, that recipe sounds wonderful!! I love the apple peeler/corer/slicer!

I called the vet at 930 Saturday morning, but had to leave a message. they called back at 1230 to tell me that they closed at Noon. (well, duh, that is why I called at 930!) Anyway, they gave me an emergency number, but I am hesitant to call, because I know they will just say bring him in. I don't want to spend the extra for an emergency visit. Aside from being sick, he is totally fine. Chasing after Daisy and all. I am going to see what time they open tomorrow, and call Jennifer and tell her I am going to take him right then. If they need to keep him, then they can for the day. They might still want to do xrays or ultrasounds just to be sure.

The Hospital is less then 1/2 mile from my home. I could walk there if I needed to. OF COURSE, since they open so early, I could send Steve...but then that's not the proper etiquitte of a helicopter Mom, now is it?

it was not funny when I had to clean her bed twice a day!!!!!! LOL

I almost forgot!! I had my first ever cruise dream last night!!!

We were on a ship, but I know it wasn't Disney because we were learning our way around. Connor and I were heading somewhere, and one of the crew asked if she could ask us some questions. We said yes and walked over to her desk. All the sudden the boat started rocking. we looked out the door and it was BAD. Then I see like 5 coast guard boats and I asked her if this was really that bad. (Connor and I are holding on to the desk) and she was trying to assure me that it was okay. I started telling this to Connor who just breaks down crying and saying he wants to get off! Then we looked back again, and the water was as smooth as glass. And I said, "see, everything is going to be okay" Then Steve and Colton showed up and we were headed on to where ever it was we were going. But then we were up, like on the bow of the ship, working our way through a canal of some type. It was REALLY a tight fit and we nearly knocked over someone's Harley! LOL I told you it was tight. and one of the oddest things.....a lot of the trucks that were parked along side, had basketball hoops in their hitch receivers! LOL Yanno, it's a dream, right?? LOL and then I woke up!!!
