I'm back already. Merkie knows her tests. She has come along so well when it comes to being able to study on her own. We have always studied together for her tests with me giving the stuff out to her and explaining things to her. I thought that it was important for her to begin to be more independent in her studies, so beginning this year, I have pulled back more and left it up to her to do a lot more on her own. She has adjusted much better than I thought she would. I actually think that maybe I needed her to need my help more than she actually needed it. Does that make sense?

we are doing great Nancy. we are just trying to tie up all the loose ends lol but I keep losing tract of the loose ends. I had two more crowns put in today at the V.A. Hosp and they wanted to get my partials in and I said NO not until after the cruise lol the way I lose things my partials would still be on the ship when we returned to texas

Hi Kristin; I understand you are getting cooler weather? we are in the way of hurricane Ike and looks like we could get 2-5" of rain on saturday. ugh. this city can not handle more than 2" at a time.

I think I probably should have had more than one child. Merkie is all I've got and sometimes I can be a little much and she doesn't get a break. I tell her that she has to just deal with it because she has been bought and paid for and until she out of college and on her own she just has to tolerate me.
