Good Morning everyone! I am just trying to catch up from last night before heading out today. If I get more than one day behind, it takes hours catch up.

Tropical Storm Hanna huffed and puffed her way through eastern NC and just blew a few trees down...lots of rain though, which we sorely need in this drought-stricken state (although the mountains are in extreme conditions and are not receiving any Hanna rain).

She came ashore just below the NC/SC border, south of where my parents live in Kure Beach. The surfers are loving life up and down the coast (including my boss)!

We've had about 5 inches of rain so far since last night here in Wake Forest/Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. The usual suspects are flooding, such as the major mall, Crabtree Valley Shopping Center. Winds are avg. 20 mph, with gusts much higher. Scattered power outages. Just a prolonged T-storm without the thunder and lightning.

None of this compares to when Hurricane Fran blew through here in 1996 and left this area without power for almost 2 weeks in some places. And we are inland!

Maureen, watch for the sudden downpours in your area when Hanna comes visiting this morning!

CRUISE: So I have until Sept. 9 to fill out all the paperwork online? I guess I better get crackin' on that!

I don't know if it's possible, but I'd like a count of how many children and how manyh adults and whether or not the teens want to be considered children or adult. Has anyone done something like this? I'm just concerned that many some of the teens would rather have what I am giving the adults than what I am giving the kids.

you can check the FE list against the cruise list that Allen made and compare it to see the ages of the kids and how many adults.......

I think I might have been confused...or just wanting this cruise to be here faster!! This is what I found today on the DCL site....

All forms must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the start of the vacation, except:

the optional Medical Information Form, which must be received by Disney Cruise Line® at least 14 days prior to embarkation, and
the optional Flight Modification Form, which must be submitted online at least 60 days prior to embarkation

Please note that you will be able to fill out any incomplete forms at the port terminal**.

So if you go by that, then the forms need to be filled out by OCTOBER 9. Maybe someone who hasn't filled out the forms can look and see. I know I saw a date there yesterday, but now it says all the forms have been filled out.

I've done this, that's when I realized that some listed on the FE list are teens, some are older teens even. I am thinking about giving them the adult gift. Merkie is getting ready to turn 11 and I asked her which she would rather get and she asked if she could have both. I assumed this means that children much older than her may prefer the adult gift.
