Shauna, that is just too cute!!!!!!!!!! He makes such a cute pirate!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I will be back in a little while..I need to go pick up DMIL to go get her truck...She had to put it in the shop earlier this morning so I need to get her from her house to go back and get the truck :goodvibes I will be back later...:thumbsup2

Talk to you later Shauna!!!!!!

Hello All!!!

Maureen, I too, like the white shoes better! But as my Mom used to always say, It doesn't matter waht I think. You are the one who has to wear them!

Shauna, Chris is BEAUTIFUL! Those eyes!!! What a cutie!! Love the pirate costumes too!!!

FE....I have 2 tote bags and 2 chests. Maybe I'll use one chest and one tote bag? Since we have 2 doors? Then if the chest is too small, they could leave it in the tote at the other door?? I do know they can't be any more then 8" wide. They can't be hanging into the hall. I would have to tweek the tote bag, but it can be done!!! If I turn the bag inside out, run a simple stitch down the sides, then when I turn it out, it should bring it in by a few inches. Then, I can just pull the stitching out when we get home! I could do an iron- on for it too!

I am either going to have to make dinner or go to the mall...whichever the boys want to do first! We need to go and pick up Colton's bi-foculs. At least he'll have the weekend to get used to them!!

Hi Michele!!!!!

I think my FE is going to be a little small, so I might have to figure something out myself!!!!!

My vote is the mall!!!!! LOL
Have fun!!!!!!

Hey Michele:wave:

For the shoes its pretty much a matter of trying to decide if I want both of htem :rotfl: I have a pair of cowboy boots that go with my formal. But they're older haven't shined up very well lately, and also bulky to be bringing on a cruise since I don't plan to wear them a lot. The brown will not go with the other outifts i plan to wear at dinner except maybe 1. The white sandals while not exactly what i was looking for will go with pretty much everything else.

I also want to buy a pair of nice walking shoes fro going on the islands:rotfl: So my questions is do i buy 2 pairs of shoes or 3 :lmao:

and your vote wins! we are heading to the mall to get his glasses, check out CJ Banks again, maybe Hollister and TDS! we'll be back after a bit!!!

Oh, and last night, Bayer Crop Sciences had an explosion! Supposedly there is a You Tube Video of it, but I could not find it this morning. I'll look again later. it happened about 1030 last night, we heard about it around 11. By 12 midnight, they had issued a shelter in place. the interstate and ALL secondary roads were closed. All was determined to be okay at about 2 am. The area came as close as 5 miles of our house. When Steve came up at Midnight to tell me, I started making a list in my head, Cash, dogs, food, water, clothes, meds, blankets....If they would have said it was bad, we would have been heading for Ohio. Thankfully, it wasn't, but the thought of what could have happend, is really scary!! That is why this is area is knicknamed "Chemical Valley"!!! It's also concidered a terrorist hot spot, meaning because of all the chemical plants around here, one bomb and there would no longer be a Tri-State area!! Scary to think about. this whole area was under high alert on and after 9/11.

Okay, off to tha mall!!!!

Do you want me to call Member Services to see if there are any rooms I can get you???!!!!!!!

Thanks, but we've decided to keep our reservation at the Radisson. Merkie really wants to do the Space Center.

Afternoon everybody. Still trying to decide on what's going to hold the FE gifts:rotfl:

Checked out some stuff on ebay and someone there had a DIY kit with nice Miockey fabric for i think $20+shipping. Is that a good price?

If it helps, I paid $35.00 plus $5.00 shipping for a finished FE from ebay.

YOu said it. Don't know if I can even last until 4am these days :rotfl:

Merkie had a Valentine's Sleepover. Including here, we had ten girls come after school on a Friday. The did makeovers and modeling. Merkie's Dad even put up a makeship runway in our family room for them. They all stayed all night. At 5:30, I told them that they had to go to slepp. Some of them were back up by 8:00. The last girl was not picked up by her mother until 7:00 p.m. I literally thought I was going to die. When Destiny left, Merkie and I went on to bed and slept until 9:00 a.m. the next morning. Merkie says it is now an annual event. I will definitely put down some grounds rules if it is.

Yeah I saw that price going today too. I was going to PM a Disser to see if she could make me 1, but her cruise leaves in 3 weeks. I don't know if she'll have the time:rotfl:

And it boggles the mind why we call them sleepovers:lmao:

We didn't sleep when we went to them as kids why should kids sleep when they go to them now:rotfl:

Oh, how absolutely cute he is!

Im back...Just a quick pick up and drop off of My DMIL (or as I call her MAMA SALLY)

Thanks Maureen, Candy and Michele. I myself am always jelous of his gorgeous eyes...But we were always hoping that he would keep his blue eyes when he was born, so yep he is my blonde hair, blue eyed boy :lovestruc My dad has the blue eyes but my dads hair is dark brown, my hair used to be really blonde but now its more a light brown/dishwater blonde. So I guess he gets the eyes from my dad :thumbsup2

Im not sure how we started the family bed...well thats a lie...It was from birth...but I wasnt necessarily planning on that happening. I breast fed him (yes I didnt plan to breastfeed him as long as I did, but he was breastfeed up until right after he turned 2) :rolleyes1 I just couldnt take it anymore and so we stopped the BFing, But I never really intended for him to sleep in our bed but when he was a newborn that was the ONLY way we could get any sleep and so thats what happened. Now its getting to be a bit of a pain and we are rethinking our options  But he suffers from Seperation Anxiety (hmmm wonder where he gets this anxiety from) :rolleyes1 And he always has...I couldnt sit him down when he was a baby because he would cry and scream like I had pinched him...Therefore he became my little barnicle that went EVERYWHERE with me. He is getting a little better as he gets older (now he will stay with Papa for brief periods of time, and he has stayed with his grandparents for a couple hours once while Mike and I went to a party) but thats about it. He doesnt even like being in a seperate room from us and wont go into any room without someone going with him. Showers by myself are rare unless Mike engages him in a fun activity before I get in and usually we wind up with him in the shower with me :sad2: But we are working on it...As always he is a work in progress

Ditto here...I did the same thing. My dad makes them pretty well and I started making one out of Winnie the pooh material. It looks ok but nothing to really brag about. I should take a pic to show you all...but im not that proud of it :lmao:

Thank you Gail...I do hope that You & Merkie gets to feeling better...Its no fun to be sick...:goodvibes :goodvibes :wizard: :wizard: :goodvibes :goodvibes

The actual bid on mine was much lower, but she had a buy now price. I didn't want to wait any longer, so I did buy now. The person actually shipped it the next day. We ordered it on Sunday and received it on Wednesday. Long story short, she may already have some made.

I must have ran with a sorry crowd, because we were always in bed by midnight. I just can't stay up late. I've always been a morning person. I get up at 5:00 during the week and sleeping in on the weekend means 7:00 at the latest. The only time I ever sleep later is if I'm sick (like tomorrow morning) or if I've had to sit up late the nights before.

It's not fun, but it can be fattening. I have already had two people (mom and ex-hubby) drop by to bring me dinner. I had already asked a good friend to pick us up something and drop off on her way out with her husband tonight. So I will have enough left overs for all day tomorrow.
:woohoo: :woohoo:

Now, I'm finally all caught up.

So, what is everyone's plans for this weekend? We were going out of town on a shopping trip to finishe up FE and dresses, but now that we are both sick that's not happening.

I can't find this launch on their website, today!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure, but I think this may have been cancelled. When we were first planning when to come to Cape Canaveral, I got on the KSC website to see if there were any launches. This is the one I found. I posted on here that Merkie and I were going to see it. Someone on here told me that an actual shuttle was being launched on the 8th. We changed our plans to come early to see that shuttle. Then when someone else on her pointed out that the 8th launch was at 1:30 A.M., we decided to go back to our original plans. When I got back on the website to see what time the launch would be on the 10th, it wasn't listed any more. I assumed it had been cancelled, but I stress the part where I said "I assumed".
