Use grouping symbols to equal the following: 62; 220; 4,374; 279,936.


We were able to figure out 62 and 220. any ideas on how to get the other two????

8th grade? OMG we didn't even take this up in grade 13!

It is amazing what these kids are learning today. I looked all the way through Merkie's 5th grade Science book. I know for an absolute fact that I did not have any of this stuff until Freshman Science. I have mixed feelings about it because I know that I went K-12 and stayed busy every year. If they are learning freshman material in 5th grade what did we learn during those grades that is now being left out? They have to be leaving something out.

We arrive in Miami at around 2:30, if all goes well!!! Then with car rental and the drive, and traffic, we figure we will get there close to 7PM!

Yep it's black!!!!! I haven't decided if it will replace the one I had, it's more dressy, but I think I like the other one on me better!!! This might be a last minute decision!!!
I think they are happy to be home!!! They have been gone 6 weeks total this summer......3 of those weeks were without us!!!!
