I may be at Pop with ya. I requested quotes on both. I sort of would prefer to stay at Saratoga Springs, but the two weeks during free dining that I am considering for next Sept., I will stay at Pop. But who knows. I will definitely be moving to the Radisson on Fri. I got that night free through gold points and they will let me leave my car parked there free which will save me $100.00 which is how much it costs to park a vehicle at the port for the week.

I would love to have you at POP Century with us But If you can get a good price at Saratoga then by all means enjoy! I would rather be at Saratoga myself but I have no room to complain because I get to go to Poly this next week...so all is good That is a GREAT deal that you got for the Radisson...I LOVE that place, it was where we had our wedding reception Its Gorgeous and will always hold a special place in my heart

Candy---I bet you are counting the second for the girls to be home arnt you? I dont blame you...WOW what a small plane. We had to go on one of those one time (on the way to our honeymoon!!) it was scary! but we survived just fine

We stayed at the Radisson before our last cruise and we really liked it. Merkie loved the pool, and I loved the convenience. We were given complimetnary breakfasts at the on site restaurant. I can't remember the name. The shuttle to and from the port was so easy and convenient.

Enjoy your stay at the Poly. We had dinner at Ohana during one of our trips. Loved the dinner and loved the resort.

Shauna, that is aweful nice of you to offer to send postcards! I think some of the little kids might like a card "From Mickey" that says he is looking forward to seeing them on the cruise! Instead of sending Me a postcard, can you just take Me with you??

I have never made stir fry before, how hard could it be, but I used a recipe I found online and it really was too wet. Had too much sauce and not enough flavor. I might tweek it a bit more before Steve eats.

There is a thread on here where people who are cruising sends post cards from Castaway Cay to future cruisers. Someone did this for us for our first cruise. We got the postcards about two weeks before we left. I offered at that time to return the favor, but noone replied. Merkie is old enough now that she knows it didn't really come from Mickey Mouse, so I didn't ask anyone to send us a card, but I did go on and offer to mail some out. I have had one family to send me a pm with the names and addresses for their two children. So, I will be stopping at the post office at Castaway Cay.

What ever you find will be fine. Merkie's favorite is Belle. But, we love everything Disney.

I just read the entry for Saratoga Springs in the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2008 edition and it wasn't all that nice. It said that the decor and theming are not very inviting to children. That it is so spread out that it is quite a walk from the rooms to the dining and services buildings. That any rooms close to those buildings were subject to a great deal of noise especially early in the morning.

Has anyone stayed here before? What were your experiences?

I'm not sure I am. Right now I have the Radisson booked for Wed, Thur and Fri before the cruise. I am thinking about canceling just the Wed and Thur and staying at Saratoga Springs those two nights.

SSR is our favorite resort.. That entry is the farthest from the truth I am sorry to say.. SSR is GREAT for kids...Great slides, and if you requested to stay in the GrandStand area they have a GREAT water play area in that section and it is close to the pool!!!!!!!

Hubby and I really enjoy that hotel...Saratoga is one of our favorites...I never felt any of those things that they mentioned were true. There is a bit of a small walk to places but I didnt find it that bad Of course I love to walk so that really doesnt help out much.
