October 11-18, 2008 Disney Magic Parrothead Pirates in Paradise Chapter 11

Hey everyone, Im back on...I was at MIL's house and I got SOOOOO tired so I took a quick nap...now we are back home...and although I am still tired, I am able to function

* OFF TOPIC* ok now i am having a hard time getting Chris to go poop in the potty. He has went once and then some days he wont tell me and just goes in his underwear...I know that he will go in the potty in due time, but tonight we ran him to the potty at MIL'S house cause we saw him straining and he was starting to go....well we get in the potty and NOTHING...He refuses to go...and so we sit and sit and sit some more and then he started to fall asleep on the potty so eventually he said that he didnt have to go anymore and we headed home. I hope that maybe he just feels more comfy going at home and WILL tell me that he has to go here

Im going to bring my laptop on the cruise just for the sake of downloading my pics from the camera to them

sorry to hear about Chris not going on the potty!!!!!! and I have no suggestions other than keep trying!!!!!!!! I had an easy time training Josh but Kevin on the other hand was not easy at all LOL

Um, anytime. We are going to make a flag cake...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then again I should not make the flag cake since I want to make them a back to school cake for Tues....too!!!!!!!!!!!! Too much cake.. Maybe, we will just do strawberries and whipped cream tomorrow or MOnday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We'll have to see!!!!!!!!!

Hey did you happen to see the cake that they made on Jon and Kate last week? It looked yummy!! It was a flag cake that had whipped cream frosting with blue berries and strawberries on it to form the stars and bars...It looked so yummy. When you said you were making a cake it made me think of that

Nancy- Thanks...I know that sometimes pooping is the hardest part for them to pick up. What is the bad part is that he wants to wear the underware all of the time (I dont mind) but I do mind cleaning the poop out of them and from off of him when he wont go I know its part of the process but I am hoping that he will be ok for our disney trip this next week Im bringing pull-ups just in case but since I have introduced him to underware, he doesnt like pull ups anymore (unless he has to poop and then he will tell me that he wants to wear his diaper or pull up) well we dont have anymore diapers (we gave them all away) And I dont feel that it would be right and would only confuse him more if we keep switching between them all...so I guess its lots of laundry for us (wish we had a washing machine in our house)

Me too the pain she is describing is exactly what I had with my collapased lung!!!!!! I may take her to the clinic tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes little ones are more comfortable going at home!!! You might either want to keep trying, or wait until after your trip and just not take him anywhere for a few days until he is more comfortable with the potty thing!!

I was trying to stay away, but I didn get hit a few times
poor Kevin he was the only 3 year old playing with kids alot older than he is and he was soaked right through.....he was getting a little upset since they were all after him LOL
