Usually at the beach we have a kite, are we allowed to bring one on board and to the beach ?

That's such a good question....I have no idea. I guess you could call DCL and ask them because you would have to know before you go. My guess is that if you can carry it, then you can bring it. But I'm just guessing. Let us know what you find out.

I feel ya! It's been crazy here too! I've decided to just go with the basics to get ready - haircut only. Might do the others on board. Hopefully that will make it a little less crazy. My hubbs & I have decided to fly with only our carry on bags - no checked luggage - So i'm also trying to figure out the necessities for packing so it'll fit in my tiny bag. It's been a challenge.

nonetheless, we'll all be sailing away soon enough and all the craziness will be worth it!!

You're so right Melissa....whatever condition I'm in when I get there doesn't matter....getting there is the point.

Tom, DGS, got a job. YEAH!!! So no more job searching and driving all around town. Now I just have to drive him back and forth to work. He's doing the overnight shift at a warehouse....so 11pm-7am and it's an hour away from the house. I only have to do it untill we leave for vacation, then he'll have enough money to get his own car. YEAH!!!! He's moving in the right direction and I'll be sipping a BBC very very soon. WOOHOO!!!!!

Hi Nichol...thanks for answering my questions. It's great to know that you get your own wedding coordinator to help you with everything. 10/10/10 is a great anniversary date!! How very romantic to be taking your vows on Deck 7 with Nassau in the background.

Is the vow exchange a private ceremony too? Do you have a lot of family and freinds onboard with you? I always wondered who would be with us if we do our renewal onboard. I hope you don't mind me asking so many questions. I'm really interested in having my own ceremony in 5 more years. It's time to think about what I would want and a budget to start saving. I don't mind the questions at all! Yes, the vow ceremony will be private. We will have several members of our family with us, 11 total (9 adults, 2 kiddos). The ceremony is approx. 15-20 minutes and there will be a champagne toast/cake reception afterwards. We also booked everything through our travel agent, which has also taken a huge load off of the planning/stress level! If you are interested in more information, head over to the Disney Wedding/Honeymoon boards. There is an overwhelming amount of information on those boards!! It's great!

It's getting so close!!!!! 2 weeks for right now, we'll be landing at MCO and heading to wdw for the day before our cruise! I can't wait!!!!!

Our plans have changed. My Aunt is seriously ill. She lives in Bradenton, FL. I'm leaving one week early now and flying down to Bradenton on Tuesday. I'll be there for a week before meeting my husband in Orlando to start our vacation. He's still driving down. Now he'll be driving alone. Wed is my 20 year anniversary date and we'll be apart for the first time in 20 years. But it can't be helped. My cousins have a very hard decision to make at the end of the week about their mom. I'll be there for them with their Dad, who I'm bringing with me. He lives up North. So now I have to finish packing for vacation before I finish packing for a week in Bradenton. Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

Is the FE list complete? We are just finishing up all the gifts and want to make sure we have everyone. Are we all still going to try and get together to put faces to all the names? DW is just finished all the pirate costumes and I got to say they are pretty awesome. Also the FE she made look great. WE cant wait we are so excited for this vacation to start.

Yep! The FE List is complete and I will post it ASAP! I don't think it's changed much since the last time I posted it.
I think some of us had decided to meet up @3pm at the Promenade Lounge. That should give us enough time to meet each other, have a drink, and then get back to our rooms for the safety drill @4. Hope to see you and your family there!

Only 10 more days until the hubbs & I fly away and begin our vacation!! I hope these next 10 days FLY by!

While we were packing today & being excited that we're leaving this Wednesday, I learned that my good friend & hairdresser for 20 years passed away this week. Tom was only 45 yrs old. We loved him like a brother & considered Tom part of our extended family.

Tom was there when Allen & I got married and did not only my hair but my bridesmaids hair too & didn't even charge me. Tom was there when my babies were newly born & watched them grow up. Robby wrote on Facebook today that Tom was one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet.

Our family is going to miss him very much.

While we were packing today & being excited that we're leaving this Wednesday, I learned that my good friend & hairdresser for 20 years passed away this week. Tom was only 45 yrs old. We loved him like a brother & considered Tom part of our extended family.

Oh Sharon, what a shock! Tom was so young. I'll keep you and his family and friends in my prayers. You and I will do a special cheers in tribute to Tom and Jesse while at dinner one night. May they rest in peace, our angels in heaven.

My Aunt Jesse passed away on Wednesday night. Her family was by her side as she took her last breath. I was there with them. I'm glad I went down when I did.

Her funeral service is being held on Long Island in NY tomorrow. I'll be there.

I flew home to PA today out of Tampa. It's great to be back with John again. I missed him so much. We'll drive to Long Island tomorrow for the services. Our car is already packed for vacation. We'll start the drive to Orlando tomorrow night from NY.

Tom's mom Sandi met us at the Tampa airport and picked up Tom. He's going to stay with her in Florida for a while.

We're spending 4 nights in Orlando before cruise. We have lots of meets scheduled with DISer friends from our Panama Canal cruise in 2008.

The thing that I'm looking forward to the most on this trip is seeing Casey's face when he gets to Atlantis. He's going to be thrilled and that's going to make me happy....more than anything else.
