It'll depend on how many people are wait listed ahead of you. I think it's unlikely. It's F&W then and I would think there may even be some 11 month window people waiting....

well thats why its a wish list, i do have my garden/pool view already

extremely unlikely.

there is a very remote possibility of a random day or two opening sometime in oct, but, as lauren said, they will most likely go to the WLs in place already (& if even a single day hits the website, you can be sure it'll be gone quicker than one can say "buy where you want to stay").

you probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting even a BWV pool/garden view in oct.
one really needs to own at BWV - & book right at 11 months - to get a BW view during F&WF.

Plus with the wilderness pool closure I am sure a lot of people with wilderness reservations are trying to change as well this year.

I just tried to get something for the end of this year via renting dvc and yeah, starting in September and extending through 12/31, there's pretty much nothing per what my agent told me. This is covering ALL the dvc's, not just Boardwalk.

Not sure who you mean by agent. But I have looked recently for weeks during that time and found stuff. Sounds like something isn't quite right but DVC is not completely booked from Sept to Jan. Some options are but if you are flexible you can find stuff.
