Hello everyone!!!

I am researching all of the different websites calendars and predictions, everyone has different answers and I'm at such a loss here

I am looking at:
-The week of Halloween but leaving before the weekend, leaving Thursday night or Friday morning. I know everyone says to avoid the weekends in October but how would the weekdays Halloween week be?

-the first week of November, I see a possible race? Not sure how that impacts things and which parks? I believe jersey week will be the week after

I really appreciate your help with this!

Hi! My personal opinion is that there would not be a huge difference between the weekday crowd levels for those two weeks. You'll want to avoid the two long weekends, Columbus Day and Veteran's Day, if possible, as well as the weekend of Halloween itself. But because Halloween is not a holiday that most workers/students really get off, I think that it won't make a huge dent in the weekday crowd levels. I've had several trips to Walt Disney World in early to mid-November, and generally speaking, crowds have always been low to moderate until the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. Keep in mind though that between the pandemic and 50th Anniversary, it's been fairly difficult to predict crowd levels for this coming year.

Something else to consider would be the decorations and holiday parties. If you'd enjoy the Halloween decorations and the Disney After Hours Boo Bash, then I'd visit in late October. Early to mid-November will bring the advent of Christmas decorations and the Very Merriest After Hours events.

Thank you so very much!!! My main concern is crowds so it truly doesn't matter to me which week we go! I agree that Halloween week is not a big "travel week" and with food and wine I'm hoping as long as we avoid weekends we'll be ok!

Things have been tough to predict these last couple years, I appreciate your input!

EPCOT will likely be fairly busy between the Food and Wine Festival and the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, as well as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. But since the Food and Wine Festival runs through November 19, I don’t think there’s any reason why one of those two weeks would see a heavier crowd at EPCOT than the other.

Thank you much, just booked Halloween week!

Good choice. Halloween has been slightly better for us crowdwise in the past, especially at MK on party days. This year may be wierd, though.

Agree that it really depends on which decorations you prefer to see. Pre-Halloween or post-Halloween when it is decorated for Christmas.
Crowd wise, not a huge difference in the 2 months while Food & Wine is going on.
In the past, we have gone over Thanksgiving and the crowds were less than we have seen during F&W.
This year, who knows?

Plus it seems October is pretty consistently warm.We once went the week of November 8th and it was about 45 degrees when we were watching Fantasmic. We weren't prepared for those temperatures in Florida.

Exactly! Another reason I wanted to go this time!
