Hi, thinking about re-booking for last week in oct/first week in nov next year so hopefully will get Halloween/Christmas plus the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot, has anybody been at this time? If so is it good and should the weather be ok, I know it will be busy for Halloween but we are used to that :)

Will let you know! We fly 19th oct to 2nd nov this year

Have done last week of nov and first of dec and this was lovely and very christmassy

Hi, no, we have only done Halloween and Christmas at DLP and to be honest Halloween there has really gone downhill the last few years so I thought maybe try and get the best of both worlds leaving approx the 27th oct to 8th nov, plus me and DH can't take hols after the 23rd nov, just came back last weds and all the Halloween decs are up already, also we enjoyed staying at the deluxe with the free DDP! :yay:

We were there 19th Oct - 3rd Nov last year and it was perfect :)

The weather was lovely...hot and sunny every day but not too hot (around 28C, exceot for a mini heat wave for 3 days where it got up to 32c). We only had one lot of rain and that was for a couple of hours one afternoon, otherwise it was clear blue skies everyday :woohoo:

Crowds were quite low actually. MK did get busy early afternoon, but with generally low crowds and use of fast passes we didn't queue for more than 20 minutes anywhere. Universal was even quieter than WDW (except for HP area of IOA, but that became quiet at the end of the day with rides being walk ons.)

I don't know if it helped, but we made use of evening EMH and planned which days we went to which park (mainly avoiding the parks at weekends), but even so, you could tell the crowds were low by the amount of unused sun loungers at the water parks ;)

I'd definitely go again at that time of year if the schools weren't making it so difficult to take children out during term time :sad2:

That sound brill thank you. My DD leaves school next may so it will be nice not to have to worry about taking her out, we asked a CM about the weather at that time and they said it was quite cold, but their cold is prob still a heatwave to us lol! Just hav to wait till nov for the flights to come out, so tempted to ring Complete Orlando and book, I'm sooo impatient! :rotfl:

We have booked for 29th Oct - 12th Nov next year! I can't wait!:goodvibes

Complete orlando have flights for that time already as i priced up 5th nov with them, ypu just have to call them

We fly out on the 26th October and head back on the 12th November. So we're doing all the Halloween stuff in WDW and Universal, HHN included, cant wait. Then we have MVMCP on the 8th. Plus F&W is on, which is awesome.
This is our first trip, but i cant imagine a better time to go, my friends went last year first week in November and although they didnt do Halloween, they did Xmas and F&W and they said it was amazing, weather was perfect.
I'll be posting reviews when i get back!!

BTW - We booked just over a year in advance, we really wanted to do all these things so waited until this year. Its definately worth the wait!!

Oh that's brill, I'll def look out for it! I've just rang c/o and they don't have the mcr flight prices till 11 months out so I will have to hang on, can't wait to get it sorted, we stayed at SS this time, brill room with view of DD and only a short walk, would like to try OKW next but being able to walk to the village sways me again for SS. The DDP was great, ended up with loads of snacks on last day and didn't realise until the end some places give you 3 snacks for a table service allocation (we had 8 left but it was too late to sort) also u can use the table service for counter which was brill and more convenient! :)

Btw. Think I'm too much of a scaredy cat to do the HHN lol!

Wow, who with and have u managed to get flights yet?

Debs xx

I booked with Cinders Mum over on the Dibb. We have Virgin flights from Man - Mco 2 adults and 3 children (12, 8, 5) £2796. The price is guaranteed and I was happy to pay it. I don't think I could stand booking at the 11 month window. I know it might have saved me some money, but I have peace of mind, knowing that everything is booked. We have also got a 1bed at OKW, 14 day ultimates and free DDP. The total cost, with everything included was £6145 Roll on next October!:cool1:
