Hello everyone. I am not much of a writer so this trip report will be mostly in pictures. First I want to thank my family for putting up with me and taking all these pictures. Also I want to thank the best bunch of DISsers to ever cruise the high seas. We had such a good time with everyone and the generousity of the FE was awesome. :thumbsup2 My kids never had so much fun. Even with cruise starting in a large storm (we were on a 800 foot see saw for 24 hours) fun was had by all.
I will try to post a day of the cruise each day but bear with me if I am slow.

Ok let's start off with the cast of characters.

The Family

The Magic in Paradise DIS group. Sorry not everyone is pictured here as we had to move the DIS meet from the Goofy pool due to gale force winds and rains.

Love you're doing a trip report Dan!!!:yay: And yep...boo hiss, we didn't get the memo on the change for the picture, but that was fine, we were probably at guest services or headed to the rooms to check for luggage and shipped boxes. Not sure though..:confused3

Love the Navigators! That's the one thing I wish I had brought home with us, so I could remember exactly what games and shows we did! Keep them coming!

And since this was our first ever Disney cruise, for us, it was a great time with fellow Dis'ers! Don't know whether to expect that or not next cruise, but sure hope so! It was Magical!:)

It is so nice to see Navigators for the Eastern Cruise. We leave in 2 weeks and have been so anxious to hear reviews. Hope you're family survived the rough seas. Any tips will be appreciated.:flower3:

Having kids in school we decided to fly into MCO on a later flight so to miss as little school as possible. We also stayed at the Hyatt at MCO. Yes it can be more expensive that an offsite hotel but who wants to arrive in Orlando at 8pm and then lug bags around onto a shuttle to a hotel. It is worth the price to just get off the plane, grab your bags and just go upstairs to check in. We were able to meet with another DISser on the cruise which was very nice.

I love your report as well. I hope the injured solder is doing better. Sorry you missed the DIS meet but the wall of rain forced a change which we tried to spread the word. We did get to meet up later that night. :cool1:
Each cruise will be different and that is some of the fun of it. Each group will have it's own flair. This group was the best we had (in 7 cruises). Everyone was great and a lot of fun. The FE group was unreal :lovestruc. Glad you had a great time. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 This is WHAT we hope to do next time...unless we got an unforeseen amount of days to enjoy the parks, but with dh vacations, it'll probably the day before again. So we're hoping to join in on the Hyatt MCO...
Now to find the cruise...:rotfl:

We woke up to rain at the airport so I checked the web cam at PC. Even though it was raining the sight of the Magic got us excited.

We managed to get the first bus from MCO over to the port where is was raining but we did not care since there was the Magic.

We arrived before and DCL let us into the terminal before the general cruisers outside. Therefore I quickly got a few pictures of a relatively empty terminal

Here we are waiting in the terminal for our number to be called.

End of Day 1

Due to the high winds and rain the Sail Away party was moved to the Atrium. Everyone still had a good time.

After the Sail Away party we went back to our stateroom to watch up leave port.

The rough seas in the Port Canaveral channel

The pilot boat being rocked by the seas. We watched as the pilot boat struggled to get close to the Magic. The pilot was able to safely debark the Magic with all of us cheering.

Dinner was not pretty. We were in 20 to 30 foot swells. The crew and guests had a hard night. A lot of the crew as well as the guests were affected. DW and DS retired during during dinner.

We needed an angel looking after after us as the seas continued to rock the Magic all night.

Wow...this pic is big...how do I make this smaller?

Awesome. :thumbsup2 Which morning was this from?

This was our last sea day. I really miss getting up early and walking the ship. Normally, I only see 3-5 people out that early. That morning, there were quite a few people up early enjoying the sunrise. I think the first 2 days got everyone ready to be outdoors.
