Heather - We went on our very first cruise last October - a 3-night Disney Dream cruise. It was the most relaxing vacation ever! I'm excited to stretch this one out on 4 nights (though hoping to get to 7-nights at some point!). CC was our favorite part of the trip, so we picked this for the two-days there. Your trip sounds like an incredible getaway, road trip and all! -Tara

What to expect? What to plan for its me my husband and out 2year old little girl

Hi and welcome aboard!!!

Just wanted to say cruising with little ones is a blast! We will have 3 kiddos 4 and under this time around. Our oldest is on his 4th cruise and we have been going since he was 13 weeks. This cruise we will have between a 12-15 week old depending on when the heck he/she comes (I'm due in about 1.5 weeks).

Couple tips:
-bring a comfy stroller but NOT a big stroller. Just something that can recline a bit. That way you can hopefully convince them to take a nap while you walk around.

-your servers will do an awesome job making sure she finds something she likes to eat and will usually try and keep her entertained so you can eat. Ours always brought their food out right away. We usually end up feeding them and one of us walking them up to the nursery/kid's club between courses. This feeds them, but also allows us to have some time to actually enjoy dinner. (This cruise I booked nursery time for our entire dinner -second seating- so we can feed the kids around 6 have time to get ready and drop them off on our way. If they want to come with they can, but more than likely they will want to play)

-the nursery is AMAZING! Our kiddos loved going there to play (even though they did cry every time at drop off, but they settled within a min or two) and they were always well taken care of. Don't be nervous to use it

-just know if she is not potty trained by the cruise, she will NOT be allowed into any of the pools. They have a small splash area outside the little kid pool that she can enjoy. They do have life guards watching for swim diapers and will ask you to leave if you attempt to get into the pool with her.

I agree, Heather! I'm obsessed with thinking about it - but at least it's stretching out the fun of a 4-day trip by giving me happy thoughts for months in advance!

What are everyone's plans for our stop in Nassau? This is our 1st time in the Bahamas AND our 1st Disney cruise. We booked this cruise to enjoy the boat & 2 stops at Castaway Cay.
Any recommendations would be appreciated. It's me (mom), DH, DD15 & DS12.

We plan to enjoy CC as much as humanly possible, so we will probably save our energy on Nassau Day and just enjoy the boat for the most part. No major excursions on the island or anything... On our 1 previous cruise experience, CC was beyond amazing and I want to enjoy every moment of both our days there.

In Nassau, we signed up for the day at Colonial Hilton. I cannot walk on sand, and really look forward to a larger pool than on board the ship and also want to enjoy a resort day. Never did this, so thought we would give it a try. We have been to Nassau on cruises 7-8 times. We did Dolphin encounter at Blue Lagoon, Aquaventure at Atlantis, Ardastra Gardens and snorkeling from a boat many times.

Booked Palo dinner for Wednesday night (this is my first cruise as Platinum) and snorkeling from the boat on the second CC day!

I hope they are showing Maleficent on board!
