I have been reading and gaining tons of information from all of you for a long time. I usually keep quiet, but I need ideas on what to do. I have a 10 year old who has watched all of the you tube videos on being surprised on going to Disneyland or Disney World. She has wanted to go to the Halloween party for a long time. I had to make sure that my husband could get Friday off to be able to fly down on her birthday, Oct 4. I went to the site to purchase the tickets 2 days ago and it is sold out. I know they are non refundable and wondered if there is any where to purchase tickets if for some reason someone is unable to attend. We are picking her up after school and surprising her with a birthday trip to Disneyland. I really appreciate any information anyone has!!

im sorry your the third person ive heard lookign for oct 5th tickets
1. go the 2ed or two see about the tour its more expincive but includes tickets to party good luck

Did you look for tickets on the Disney website? I just went on there and tickets are still available for Oct 5th. Try again.

Oct. 5 is sold out if you go through the Disney site, it shows the dates but if you try to buy, they are sold out.

I already tried the haunted tour, but when it is sold out they no longer offer the tickets as part of the tour. We got great airfare and come in on Thursday night so going on different day isn't an option. Thanks for the idea though.

That's a bummer! I hope something transpires for you. Problem is that weekend is very popular and busy due to Gay Days taking place.
I would be very weary about purchasing tickets from someone other than Disney in the event that the tickets are not legitamate.

Great idea! I know it's a scary thing to do that, but there are still lots of honest people in the world. Please let me know how it goes!

Oh no! :( What a huge bummer! It's interesting that this day is the first to have sold out! I hear that usually the only sell-out days are the first night and Halloween night. I do know this is the very first day of the Gay Days celebration at Disneyland, so that must be the reason for the sellout. I know most onsite hotel rooms are sold out too. There HAVE to be people who have found out they can't go after all though. I know tickets are non-refundable. <snip> I think if I were you, I would try calling the gaydays coordinator. Thousands of people show up for this event, and surely they will have some people contacting them who cannot go afterall. Perhaps they will have some extra tickets to sell that people are trying to get rid of! Here is the information page so you can get a hold of someone! http://www.gaydaysanaheim.com/ Good luck, I hope something works out for you!!

Oh, what a bummer! Is there any chance you can stay for the one on the 9th? That's a Tuesday..

I know that at WDW they sometimes open up tickets the day of, even if it said the party was sold out. So certainly check at the ticket office while you are there!

Another option might be to contact a travel agent. I think sometimes they buy groups of tickets? I'm not sure, but it's an idea!

I hope it works out for you! That would be so much fun for your little princess!

You might be able to buy party tickets at the ticket booths, in past years Disneyland has held tickets for day of event purchase.

I'm going to go ahead & close the thread down now. Please remember that tickets should only be purchased through authorized dealers.
