Just popping in to say hi and let you know I'm still here. Getting ready to pay in full. Just got the check from DD's DB Got my southwest visa just in time...flights went up $100 each way from Friday to Tuesday So it's now $500 RT PP!!! I've got my two free flights thank goodness. DD has a free flight too! I'm still waiting to find out if I got the right SWA promotion though because I was supposed to get $500 in gift cards too and I don't see that posted anywhere yet. Got a stroller for my grandson too! It's a bit bigger than just an umbrella type and has the ability to recline and also a food tray but it folds down really small for transport on buses

We are all very excited and it's still so far away...I can just imagine the tension/excitement as the date nears!

We are taking our first cruise as a family on the Dream October 30. I have three kids; 10, 9 and 15.

I would love to be added to the list for the fe. I sent a message to Kathi but not sure how this all works yet.

We had lots of sippy cups from the various bars we visited. Plus they have cups at the free soda stations.

Yes many do bring their own alcohol. Chrisitne and Shell I think have brought their own blender before? But they can answer that for sure.
Just pack it in your carryon. NEVER put it in your checked luggsge or i guarantee the bottles or cans will be busted open and go all over your clothes and other peoples luggage. It doesnt matter how well you wrap it up.


Having a pizza party this weekend with the family. Should be alot of fun. It better be since I am paying for it.

Welcome Itsmedes to the 10/30 cruise. It's our first Disney cruise as well and my kids are really excited. My daughter is bugging me everyday "when will we get the FE list". So you know you're not too late. We made our own FE (actually still in progress). It's been a fun dad/daughter project so far. Don't forget about the pillowcases or matte frame. You can take a pillow case or matte frame in a plastic bag to the customer service desk, drop it off and then it will be signed by the characters. I love this idea and can't wait to give it a try.

I had one of the officers on the cruise tell us never put your booze in your checked luggage cause it will be going to a party, just not yours

Interesting, I have always put my liqueur in my checked luggage without problems. Mainly, since I am flying the bottles are all over 3oz so carry-ons would be a problem.

Now for packing, I use the bottle armor (http://www.magellans.com/store/Health___Hygiene___Food___DrinkFP135?Partner_ID=FRGL) so never worried about breakage. I also always put bottles between soft items to cushion it. Last TA cruise brought home seven bottles that way and lost none of them. Course the way I pack, NOTHING moves around in the suitcase unless the TSA does it.

Never thought about bringing blenders, just brought basic liqueur that I can mix with the free stuff at the drink stations or wine. For fancy drinks, I either order or wait for the tastings (martini, tequila, Capt meets, Sail-Aways, etc).
