Welcome Lisa!:bride: Married on CC, that will be beautiful! :goodvibes

Hello everyone else. :) Things seem to be getting a little better around here, the first half of the month was a disaster though!

I've started babysitting for my girlfriend weekdays from 12:30 - 5:30 since her and her BF broke up. I think I might go completely bonkers though by the time school starts in a month! I forgot how hard it is to chase after a 1 year old all afternoon.:rotfl: He wasn't making it easy to keep an eye on the older 3 in the pool either, but I got my exercise in!:thumbsup2

Yesterday my DD decided that she wants a Pink Princess Pirate Party for her birthday next month. princess:pirate: Dunno how well that will work out, but I'm going to try to make it happen!

Welcome back Christine!!! Glad you had a great time!:cool1:

Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

We will be sailing on this cruise as well, it will be our first DCL cruise! We are looking forward to this cruise especially b/c my fiance and I are getting married on Castaway Cay! So looking forward to spending time with family and friends for the week :)

Lisa

Welcome Lisa, :banana::banana::banana:

Wow, getting married on Castaway Cay will be amazing. Hope you don't mind some wedding crashers:rolleyes1

Sorry Lisa that I asked for your name. I some how missed it on your original post :guilty::guilty::guilty:

I wont forget again!!

The sun is finally shinning here. So nice!!! 72 and rising.

Kathy

Been quite awhile since i've been on here. Been so busy with the kids, schooland volunteer trips. Gotta go back and read up on what's been happening. Steph, i think we went on the Halloween Disney cruise with you. Didn't your sister go too?

Hi Tink11
hope you can drop by more often. We need to get this thread moving:thumbsup2

Cool morning here again but it will heat up to the 80's this afternoon. Thats the good thing about Oregon is almost always cools down great at night to sleep.

Heading out to Costco this mroning. Its an hours drive to even get there so I dont go often. Then a quick stop at the bank and home again before it gets hot.

Hope everyone is having a great week.

Kathy

Morning all,
Christine that clip was great !! I cant wait to see her in person!!!:cool1:
Thanks for sharing with us.

Going to be hot today here too. Thank goodness we dont have the humidiy like many of you have.

We need to kick this thread into gear people!!!

I think we should do a question of the day like last time to get people posting again. Anybody else like to do that too?

I would be happy to start us off if you want to participate.

Let me know,

Kathy

It has been super quiet here but I think that's cause so many people are traveling this summer. I am sure it will really pick up once we hit the 1 year mark.:banana::banana::banana:

You know me, I am always up for "question of the day".

Ok, question #1.

What are you looking forward to the most on this cruise?

For me its seeing old friends again we havnt seen in so long. Hoping more nanaheads will come along!!!

Kathy

Answer to Question #1---- Huggin my cruisemom and maybe even Jimmy if he's up to the challenge. Then I'll give Joey and Christine the next mutthugs (and anyone else who might be wantin one). Then its off to check this new tub that Disneys putting on the water....

Wow, Kathy.... I posted 2x in one week!!! Imagine what a blabbermouth I'll be as it gets closer!!!!

Have a great day folks!

Morning all,

today is heading for low 90's but the next 2 days may hot triple digits:scared1:

Now for Christine that is nothing but for Oregon thats HOT!!
Usually Oregon will get 2 weeks total of hot weather, in August.
We have already been that hot for 2 weeks or more. So its an extra hot summer. At least where i live we always have a nice breeze which helps a lot.

Tomorrow I wont be posting until late evening, if I am not too tired.
Heading out early for Salem to leave the dogs for their first day at the new sitter.
Wish me luck!! I really need for this to work so we can take vacations like this cruise.
Then on to visit my mom, see my DD, then on to Gregs moms for a few hours before picking up the pups around 4 p.m. and drive back home.
Its almost a 2 hour drive one way to the sitter and mom, then another 30 minutes to Gregs moms. So it will be a long day. But should be a good day too.

Of course 100 degrees will make it not so good. Gregs mom only has one window AC unit in the kitchen so it may be toasty there!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Anybody have any special plans???

Kathy

Jimmy would love a hug i'm sure.

I will be watching for more posts from you. Check out the CC thread for a new lady too.

Hello everyone. :wave2:

I had a free minute, so I decided to see what was going on over here.....only two posts yesterday!

Are you sure this isn't the "slow pokes" thread?....maybe I'm on the wrong website?

It's been a busy one around our home lately. The Blue Angels are coming to do an airshow tomorrow, so we're planning to be there. The kids are really busy with karate, piano lessons and soccer. Janel has been contemplating accepting a state job. They took her out to lunch yesterday to make her an offer for salary and benefits. If she took the state job that would put a slight kink in my plans about moving out of Idaho?!

I hope everyone is doing well.

Love the Blue Angels. We have seen them before, excellant!!
If Janel decides to take the job will that cancel your cruise?
Some jobs require a specific amount of hours worked before vacation can be taken. Greg use to work for the state and they were really strict on that stuff here.
Is is a nursing job? I hope what ever you guys decide it will work for you.

Let us know what happens.

Hi Kathy,

Yes, it is a nursing job but no, it wouldn't effect any of our travel plans.

We've got almost 100 people who have join our group tour in Cairo and we'll probably top 200 by sailing time, so I probably better be there?! :goodvibes

Plus I just purchased our non-refundable airlines tickets from Paris to Budapest as part of our post-cruise travels so we're definitely going! :thumbsup2

So many things. Can't wait to see all the Nana's and to get Mutthugs. As far as the ship: All the new adult areas especially the pool bar and outdoor seating at Palo.

Tell her to take it, state jobs are amazing.

Hi Christine,

She's seriously considering it. She really likes the job she has now, but the State benefits would save us a lot of $$$ just in health/dental insurance. :woohoo:

I felt that same way, I loved my job and wasn't to sure about taking the one with the water authority. I am sooooo glad I did. So much better than anywhere I have ever worked.
