Hello everyone. My family and I will be cruising the Magic with all of you and I thought I should add our names to the list. You all seem like a very friendly group. Can't wait!! This will be our 6th Disney Cruise and it will be myself, my mom, DH, DS (17), and DD (13). We are also from New Jersey like so many others of you and my DD would love to make some new friends before the cruise, so I encouraged her to join the kids thread. Nine weeks to go!! See you all there!

My son and I will be going for some caches on Key West and CC.

Hi Brian! Yes, we love to go geocaching when we can. We found the caches on CC back in May 2009, however, I was tracking them 3 of them and I thought that had them removed shortly thereafter, I had actually placed a TB out there and thankfully it got picked up the next week. I'll have to check if there are any new ones, however, I was under the impression that they weren't wanted on the island. I'll certainly check though

Glad you are coming with us! We are from Maryland but love that the New Jersey Disney Ship is sailing with us on it!!!! My mom was just in Atlantic city and she said I LOVE people from Jersey or New York. They talk to you! (Marylanders tend to be neutral) She said if you said we are having a ship full of Jersey people its going to be a blast!!!!

Yes have your daughter join the Kids thread. My DD (11) just discovered it and is having fun meeting up with some girls on the thread.

There seems to be only one active cache (GCRFBJ) on CC. Lets hope it's still active in early Nov.

Just wanted to thank all the people who work so hard to make this meet board work so well. Janice (disney-cruizer), you are great keeping everything organized. Jen (nenner1), the lanyards must be a real pain to do for such a large group but you always seem so cheerful and patient with us. Leslie, we appreciate all you do for the FE exchange. Judy (tjbaggott), wow, your design talent is over the top with the magnets and the photo album. Jeff (pudo), you are a wealth of information and somehow you explain things so simply to those of us who are techno-challenged. Many thanks to those who are helping to arrange the trick or treating, the meet, the kids thread, and sundry other things. And we benefit also from having one of the moderators of the whole board, Mary Jane (mmouse37), help steer us in the right direction when need be. There are countless more people to thank but I'll stop here. Though we are a large group I am amazed at the small town feel of this board. Can't wait to meet all of you. I had no idea when I joined the Disboard site that I would have so much fun and learn so much stuff about all things Disney.

I completely agree with you. A Disney cruise is magical in itself, but it is going to be even more wonderful because of the time and effort everyone is willing to put in for us all. It is very much appreciated

Well, I didn't feel like cleaning this morning, so I got out my Cricut and got to work!

I bought a cricut like 3 years ago - and tried to figure it out - it didn't work for me and I haven't tried it since - but now that I'm seeing what you can do with it - I might be pulling that back out again!!

Oh, come on over to the Scrapbooking board! We'll get you using that machine in no time (and enabling lots of purchases too!). I've gotten to know the Cricut fairly well and even Morgan makes her own cards with it!

I genuinely appreciate all of the thanks and appreciation everyone expressed the last couple of days. What a wonderful group this is, and I need to thank all of YOU for being so generous, timely, and helpful. You are the ones who make my job coordinating events easy! And I sincerely appreciate it, as keeping it easy makes it more FUN!

Speaking of, lanyards are winding down, this is the last week I will be accepting payments. I will be making the order this week!!

So if you are new to the thread (or not) and want lanyards, this is your final chance, get with me ASAP so I can get payment details out to you! Once the order is placed, no more changes can be made! Nearly 200 of us will be wearing lanyards on this cruise!!! How cool is that!?!?!

Also this is the last week of signup for the Dis Trick or Treat. Ellen and I have been finalizing plans and it looks like this is going to be a great time!!! We have devised a scavenger hunt that will hopefully be just a bit challenging, and the kids will follow the clues to the candy treasure awaiting them!

Can we get a teen group list together? Maybe everyone with a teen can PM me with a first name and email address. I can compile the list and PM it back to all those that participated.

My guess is once I PM back the list, the teens can figure out the best way to communicate like Facebook.

Just a reminder which I will send out occasionally for the next week or so.

From looking at Page 1 it looks like about 20+ teens are in our DIS Family. Getting 10 or 15 would be great so please keep those PMs coming.

Lots and lots of videos out there! Just give a try, I bet you'll be hooked. There is also a message board at www.cricut.com, but it is slower than freakin' molasses.

Morgan made a few of her calendar items with it this morning. She's going to finish the rest some other time. If my 10 year old can do it, you can too!

I don't have a list at all, as I was waiting for the final list. Although there was a post a few pages back that I believe had everyone listed..

So I think my informal tally is now at 36 groups (including destin12 or dstein12 whatever it is). I'll be eager to get Leslie's formal list once our deadline has passed!

As far as splitting it, IMO I don't think 36 is too many, but my last cruise had like double that and we didn't split so I may be jaded thinking 36 is a piece of cake. Of course we also only do a per/statereom gift. I can see where per/adult/child gifts can get to be a lot.

We can post a poll if some have expressed interest in splitting it. I know I personally will give to the full list whether we split or not.
