Well...just got my cabin assignment!!! Cat 9 GTY to Cat 9...no upgrade but I am happy to be near our friends (4 cabins away). Filled out my online papers yesterday and then this morning I checked the website and there it was!!!

Anyone else get their GTY assignments this week?

No, I have sent her multiple PM's about various things and haven't heard back , but I haven't hit her up on FB yet. She was on the thread when we did our bookings at 90, so she hasn't been gone too long.

Jen, I'm *hoping* (probably wishful thinking) to be able to get brunch reservations on the 31st, but you can put me down as a possible to help with the ToT.

DH said he'll volunt 'ear' for a TOT station, and I'm pretty sure my Mom will also.

Yes, I spoke to DH's Mum and she would be very excited to help out too

Iam a GTY 9 as well and just checked and have not yet received my room assignment. I was reading on the boards that they will usually assign one when you do you online check papers/ check in. I was going to wait a little while to see if this gave me a better chance of a upgrade. I spoke to my TA and she said to wait because once you do these people they have to assign you a room. Nothing yet.. and also 6 years and no upgrade.. I keep hoping

I just checked my ressie and we are still a 6GTY. Wonder if this means we'll get an upgrade? I don't think it really matters as we have a verandah anyway, what could possibly be better than that (except for a Suite of course).

You have to upload it to a photo sharing site, like photobucket. Once that is done there is a little tag under it that says

, all you have to do is copy and paste that in your reply and it should show.

About the FE, I have some "holes" in my list and just wondered if one of you could help me fill in the gaps?

1. The official roll call lists a "dstein12" in cabin 2134. The FE lists a "destin12" in cabin 8588. Are these the same people with just the letters in the name mixed up? If it is the same person, which is the correct cabin number?

2. Do we know if anyone has signed up after 8/4/10? I have pdarrah as the last one in Leslie's last edited list posted on August 4, 2010.

3. The Cates Family show (3) people. Does anyone know the ages?

If you have signed up for the FE, but have not yet received your room assignment, please make sure to post it here. Our cabin has been assigned, 6560, and this number is not yet reflected on Leslie's list. I would hate to miss one of you, especially because I need to off-load all this stuff!

Do you mean once you fill out the paperwork they have to assign you a cabin at that time? I have not heard that. Actually someone posted on the main board today that they filled out their paperwork months ago and just got assigned yesterday. In all honestly I don't think our cruise will have too many upgrades.....it is booked pretty solid which leaves not much to move people around in. DCL can change your cabin assignment up until you check in at the port...they don't change them too often but it does happen. I don't think waiting to fill out your online paperwork will give you a better chance for an upgrade...but there is no harm in waiting...it just has to be done by 3 days prior, I believe.

dstein12 cancelled their cruise. As for an updated list, I have that info readily available at home, and of course I'm not at home at the moment. If no one else posts answers before I get home, I'll post them as soon as I can (by dinner time definately). There were a few more additions I'll get that to you ( oh and one more cancellation I believe it was a username of missy something (not Pudo's family, a different missy).

As far as I am aware..Denise is still on this cruise.

She very recently purchased (and paid for) lanyards for her party so i'd be very suprised if they have cancelled...

AS for their room, they were upgraded to 8588 from 2134. So 8588 is correct.

Just checked the DCL website again and still no more cabins showing as available....actually the cruise itself is still not showing up (I know it wasn't the other day but then came back again.)...now it is gone again!!

On my list I have the Cates as 1 male adult, 1 female adult, and one male child 3 years old.

Welcome Brian. Go ahead and send our chatty thread as many posts as you need to reach 10. You can do them one right after the other if you want, we don't mind. We all love getting short "Hi" posts! Once you reach ten, you'll be able to PM!

Interesting...I'm with Judy and thought they had cancelled so didn't have them on my personal FE chart. After post #92 where we mentioned that 31 families (not including destin12) were doing the FE, I later added to my chart: trara1375, pdarrah and now mu43 (though Brian just mentioned he'd like to join but can't PM leslie yet until he reaches 10 posts). So I have 35 families with destin12 back in my total. This is only my rough estimate -- Leslie Jones is the one keeping track officially.

aboard! We are glad to have you sailing with us.

If you would like lanyards, you are here at just the right time, as I have just reopened sign ups for a short period before I place the order.

Send me an email at nenner1 at yahoo dotcom with how many you would like and I will get you the information on how to submit payment. I will need payment by Sunday September 5, and I do take Paypal. They cost $3/each.

Also if you are interested we are holding a Trick or Treat on Halloween for the children of our group. This is because historically DCL has offered its' Halloween festivities during times where we expect to be in port. All you have to do to sign up for this is post here in the thread the number of children. their ages, gender and stateroom number (if you have one).

Hmm...did this happen recently? She paid me maybe 2 weeks ago. I'll see if I can't get to the bottom of it..LOL!
