Ha, Ha...you beat me to it....I was going to post some pics to see if anyone could find themselves!! It probably won't be until after thanksgiving as we are having 36 people for dinner and then I have to work from midnight to 8:00!!! Dang mall hours......

Glad the CD cases seem to have stood the tests of travel, I have been worried about them! Our test CD is in the car and Tiger just wants the last pirate song on repeat, we may well turn into pirates before long. We have been unpacking our FE gift holdall and it is so lovely getting all the gifts again, just the time, effort and thought we have in picture frames, photo albums, personalised pens, pencils, bags, candy, recipes....the list goes on, we truly appreciate the wonderful momentoes we have.

The Royal Wedding is huge news here. I am not a big royalist - us Welshies tend to be a little anti monarchist, but it is nice to see some good news for a change, particularly for the Royal Family who seem to have only had bad news these past few years.

Since we returned home, my son insists on listening to the pirate song every time we get in the car.

Forever, I've wanted a virtually empty terminal pic. No way that was to happen this last cruise, as it was pretty full even when we got in there quite early. Unplanned though was TIM desperately needing to use a bathroom as we were leaving the luggage area after disembarking. The CM's or Security, guided us back up the escelator to use the bathroom in the main part of the terminal. WOW, when reaching the top of the escelator, what a view, and I thought THIS IS MY PHOTO OP!!! I have more to share, but still have to get them off the laptop and onto my main computer.

I'm sitting on my comp watching the Wonder prepare to leave port in a few moments and I feel homesick for a small room and scenic views.

I took a lot of pictures (and I mean A LOT), but they are on my EHD. Here are a couple I uploaded to Photobucket to share with my friends.

Having taken so many pictures, I was pleasantly surprised to find this one. The pure joy in her face makes my heart sing. (This was on the Cayman Jewel on our way to Stingray City - the girls were sitting in the front of the boat and got splashed - I just happened to have the camera in my hands as she turned around). This is my favorite picture of the whole week. I'm going to frame it to remind me of how happy I know she can be when she's being a surly tween!

And, you can all have a preview of our Christmas card this year. I found a digital card with a pair of flip flops in blues and browns and used this picture. The saying, of course, is "peace on earth." (Mickey noticed her t-shirt and started doing the peace sign).

I thought I would drop in and say thank you to everyone for helping to make this cruise magical. There has been too much going on in my life to spend much time on the DIS.

I started a new position at work which comes with all the exitements and fears.

Then today I became the proud parent to my 17 year old grand son. His mother (My daughter) asked him to leave the house because he did not want to follow the rules. Go figure he is 17 and a straight A student. I just don't get it. So he is at our house at least for now.

We will see what happens in a week or so but I do not think things will change at his house. If you believe in prayer how about saying one or two that I will know what is in his best interest.

He is such an awesomne kid. They do not get any better than him. I guess I just do not understand how a parent can tell a child to leave because thay argue about the expectations. I just think that is part of growing up. Well I got to run.

I hear you Lois, and I pray things will work out the best for all. I've been ready/wanting, how do I say it to invite my 17 year old son to leave the house on a time or two. Teen's I've come to realize aren't always the easiest people to live with. My son is a good boy but does have anger issues, and is QUICK to argue at the drop of a hat. DD now 19 WAS invited to leave the house for two weeks this past summer, because of not following the rules (issues with Lying and coming home at 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 and 6 am after promising again and again she'd be home by midnight, and this was night after night, after night.) We met with a counsellor, DD promised to abide by the rules, moved back home, did get a job, but still, not much else has improved. (still doesn't have a H.S. Diploma). I don't know what else do but love her and look forward to the day she DOES move out into her own place. I tell ya though, I've learned do's and don'ts in raising my eldest two, that definately helps with the raising of the younger two. I know not every child is the same, but some things are pretty common.

I'm sure over time (hours, a few days, a few weeks.....), things will cool off and get back on track with your DGS and DD.
