We will be taking our first family trip to Disney Oct 17-23...
I'm wondering if these codes are simply random? Do I need to sign up somewhere to *hopefully* recieve a promo code?

From what I have heard, they are random but I made sure to sign everyone up in our party for having a Disney account on their travel site.

YESSSSSSSSSS. This is exactly what I want/need!! We're currently booked to go in the fall, but REALLY want to switch it to December if they extend FD. I'm crossing my fingers I get one sent my way. Congrats on your pin!!

If you get the one I got, it should include your dates.

I would love to get this! Is Columbus weekend included?? I need the 9th and 10th to start my trip, but my current PIN has them blacked out!!

It starts 10/3-11/22 and then 11/28-12/24.

Did you guys do anything special to his new account? Like the Itinerary trick or something or save anything? I would really like the Free Dinning Pin!! An it would cover our dates! 11/30-12/11

When I signed him up, I went in and saved the exact itinery that we were planning and kept it on there even after we booked it (My email was listed). Since he's one of the adults of our party, we got it! I don't know if it's because it's new or what but I want to guess it is because my email didn't get a hit and neither did several members of my family, all of who have had accounts for awhile.

I may be missing somethin g here but I thought you said u got fd from oct 3 on till dec. Is this true? And if so has anyone else received or heard of this? Inquiring minds want to know.

What time of day have you guys received your pin emails? Just wondering, since I check my email kind of obsessively these days! Still pinless in Massachusetts

I too check my email obsessively considering the email I got the pin on is the one that is given out to the kids' schools and activities. It came in some time between 6-9 pm Eastern time.

So here's a question... I received a pin that was good through12/16 (several months ago). I didn't do us much good as our travel dates are 12/16-12/22. We went ahead and booked anyways. Do you think us being booked hurts our chances of getting a FD pin or a pin for our dates? I will def be calling tomorrow!

I got the 30%/40% pin yesterday, but reeeeaaallllyyyyy want the FD one! I did already have a reservation made and the pin was sent to both of the e-mail addresses that were on file with that reservation. So there is hope!

We were able to get 30% off of our stay at POR December 4 - 12!!! We cannot wait!!

I called WDW again this am & asked the CM price out my vacation, minus 30% off first night, minus 40% stay at Poly, then take away the dining plan. We would actually be paying $100 MORE if we were to use FD at Poly, instead of the 40% off code. So, I guess I'm satisfied! Just wish I could have FD for our very 1st night at POP, which is a room-only ressie. We'll have to pay OOP for dining that day

For stays most nights 10/3/10–11/23/10 and 11/28/10–12/24/10.

I'll be there the same time. We got a pin for FD Monday night on our newest account that is only a month or two old. After I registered the account, I put in my exact itinerary. I don't know if that's what did it or not.

I forced my whole family to register and order maps and planning dvds and save offers. Hopefully it will help! I called and asked the CM this morning and she said I had no pin offers attached to my name, but I am already using one for our first night, so I know she is wrong...

You have to choose which pin you want to use. You can only apply one discount.
