Hello Everyone,

Hope you all have had a great day. The weather here is beautiful. It feels more like late September/early October rather than July.

I helped today with a benefit for my friend's daughter who was diagnosed with cancer in May. Sydney is only 5. She is one tough cookie, who happens to love Disney as much as I do. The benefit/silent auction raised over $15,000 to help with medical expenses, and that did not include donations and sales of t-shirts and bracelets especially made for supporting her. It was a great experience.

Patrick went for F3 day today for band. F3 stands for forms, fees, and fittings. I almost cried when I saw him in his uniform he was trying on. He was very excited. He got contacts Wednesday and has done very well so far with them.

Tonight we went out to eat for DH's birthday (10 days late) . We went to the Melting Pot, and it was wonderful. We talked about how neat it would be to have something like this on the ship. This was the first time we have eaten there and will definitely be going back.

Gena---omg the girls and I were treated to the Melting Pot in Orlando area. Was an awesome dining experience and the girls loved it.........however I almost pooped my pants when I saw the bill.....holy moly! Now our bill was for 3 adults and 4 young girls but still....I could go to MNSSHP for that. Maybe it's not that bad for just a family of 4....LOL However I agree with you, would be cool for like Palo or something. I am glad our friends treated us to the experience. Maybe one day we will treat my hubby to it. i think there is one within 2 hrs from us.

Glad Patrick is doing well with his contacts. I always wanted them but my eyes are to dry. I am sure he will do fine....more things to pack for the cruise..LOL U got contacts , I got braces junk..

Well only 1 more day after tomorrow and the FE list will be closed. Also I am starting to send out some SM forms to you of your family for the SM. I am still waiting on a SM form to be filled out. BEAN418 please fill out ur form and return it to me!! Thank you

Let me just say I don't wanna be the bad guy so if everyone could help. If anyone comes in after July 20th and says they wanna join our FE...please advise them that it has been closed off. I don't think it would be fair to say ..."Ok we will except so and so because of whatever" Because the cut off was given for a reason and I know a lot of you are coming close on ur FE supplies...so as not to make it hard on anyone let's just stick with the date and say NO.....remember that's what they say "JUST SAY NO" Although some people (ROBIN) have decided I get to be the bad guy...


Well I hope everyone has a goodnight. I am slowly off to bed efore my little house guest wakes from a night terror. Sucks to be 2 and have nightmares....sucks to be 36 and having to get up when she has one...but I love her!

No, it's that bad for a family of 4, too, but worth it for special occasions. We took the in-laws in May for their anniversary, as they had never been. Good thing, too, because they are now closed here...

We really liked the place, but DH enjoyed making fun of the fact that we pay a LOT of money to cook our own food!

Welcome Scorpion.....We are all looking forward to this trip as well...some of us have been booked over a year so we are dieing at this point! Scorpion---we are doing a FE(fish extender exchange) want to know if you wanna join or the SM(secret Mickey). I need a response from you if you want to by Mon July 20th, after that the ability to join ends. Thanks =)

Heather--yeah I really liked it too and agree with DH about makin it yourself...LOL But our bill was over $200, I just think I would rather do MNSSHP or get my Cedar Point Season passes then pay that much for food that is easy in easy out. ( Sorry I am pretty straight forward..LOL Ask my FB buds)

I think I am gonna clean a bit today , fold somemore laundry and then maybe make my last kids FE's.....adults ones will have to wait till september. TTFN

Welcome, Scorpion. You're going to love the cruise (if you're a newbie to cruising, and not just DIS).

So, we saw Harry Potter last night. Loved it, but as usual I was able to disect things and wonder why this wasn't there, this was here and why they downplayed this but made such a big deal of this....I can't believe it'll be another year before the next one (and they'd better NOT delay that one like they did this one!).

On Friday, I'm going to meet my sis in Chicago for a girls' weekend. We lived in the same town, with our kids very close, until she up and moved to Michigan last July! So, I haven't seen her in a year....I'm very excited about traveling (I love traveling anywhere), about going alone and about doing stuff with her. I Pricelined a hotel (name your own price). While you can't pick the hotel, you can pick the level of hotel and narrow down an area. Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to end up with The Drake for $89/night! OMG!

We originally thought about seeing the Harry Potter exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry, but decided against it. We're now considering an architectural river tour and the Taste of Lincoln Ave. And we are having lunch at the top of the Hancock Tower - tip of the day - do Hancock for lunch instead of going to Sears Tower (I refuse to call it by its new name!). Lunch up there is really reasonable ($18 for a buffet of gourmet food - it's a gourmet room at night) and you don't have to pay extra then, to observe the city. If you factor in what you "save" by not paying for Sears ($15), you only spent $3 on lunch! And you still get an amazing view of the city!

I am just about done with my fe stuff, so the cut off date will be a relief!!! Then I can check that off my list.

We had a really beautiful day here today so I am going to go and enjoy the rest of it. Hope everyone has a great evening!!!!

He had cancer and pnemonia and they thought he had a few more days but this evening she got a call that he went to heaven. Please keep Trina in your prayers. Her mother is already in heaven so this is extra hard for her. Her dad was 92. Thanks!

Okay...so I know I haven't been on here in like...forever. But I'm still around and still going. My BFF (Robin,DisneyDiva) keeps me well informed So I worked on FE yesterday So excited...we are one day closer today than yesterday...

Well, Riley, Bailey and I made it to the east coast (Ashley stayed in California) for a visit with my brother (thegreatcornholeo) and man the weather is perfect here. It's been in the mid to upper 70's and at home it's been over 100 for I don't know how many days in a row! It's like having the air conditioning on outside.
I hope everyone got what they wanted last night! We are getting really close now. We are past the point of no return (sort of). Today is Disney's date where if you cancel you loose your deposit. So, hopefully we wont loose anymore people from here on out.
Well, I think I'm going to take the girls and Jason to the park, since the airconditioning is on outside.

To to all for their thoughts & prayers. Family is gathering tonight in NJ to make plans for the services. We will be on conference call because my sister, the LPN, wants to make sure my leg holds out for the service & not be doing too much traveling.

Was able to get reservations for my excursions. Did not book Palo - only dinner ressies available>

got some magnets printed today, but it's hard to concentrate.
I'm really in need of this cruise & I want to go NOW!

Welcome to all the newcomers, we are ready for a great week. Less then 11 weeks left. The boys are getting so excited.

Kyle has tryouts for the high school baseball team this week. Hoping he does well. We are going to Cincinnati in 2 weeks for him to play in the allstar game with his travel team. 2 kids were picked from his team to go, and him and his best friend are going. Hoppe for a great weekend.
