I was just kicked out!!!!!! Now I can't get back in. :( What's wrong with the system!!!! I was almost done. :(

We got everything we wanted - brunch Sunday at 10. Love being in Palo as ship is pulling into Key West :thumbsup2

High Tea on Thursday at 3.

Discover Mexico & Chankanaab excursion in Cozumel.

The only thing I saw not available was brunch at 10 on Monday - other times were still open.

The system is inefficient at best. Making sure to submit after you select each item. If you wait until the end things can be filled up by the time you hit submit.

Got what we wanted. :cool1: Brunch at 10:30 Monday, Dinner at 6:30 Thursday, Atlantis in Cozumel and Rasul at 9:30 Sunday (starting the week off right - and DS5 will be making Flubber then - if consistent with recent navigators - so everyone is happy)!

nighty night. I hope you guys are able to get in.:confused3

Boy that was a pain but I got the Palo reservations done. Brunch on Sunday and Dinner on Tuesday. Not exactly what I wanted but I had to keep going back and forth between our reservations because we had 5 adults and you can only get up to 4 people for Palos. So I had to do a reservation for 2 and 3. I guess I will still have to go to and ask for them to be combined once onboard. The tables for 2 were alot harder than the tables for 3.

brunch monday at 1130
grand cayman swim with dolphins at 1215
cozumel DH and DS Kyle going to Tulum boys and I are doing adventure park on own
thursday palo dinner at 830

We got all we wanted . could not get one reservation # to work, but other worked:):cool1:
everyone have a great night

Okay. Woke my poor husband up (he has to be up at 4am to go to church to prepare for the services) and he fixed it. Apparently DCL's system doesn't like our Firefox. So, once we went onto Internet Explorer, all was well.

We got brunch at Palo on the 5th at 11am. Richard got his snorkel excursion in Cozumel (we're hoping his dad will get this also - when the firsttimers are allowed to book). And the family all got the Boatswain's Marine Park in Grand Caymen. So, all is well with my world now. :)

Thanks for putting up with my paniced self. :) Talk atcha later! Kristi

I glad that everybody seemed to have got what they wanted. I still have not experienced making reservations at 90 days out so I am not too sure how hard it is to get anything at that point. For the first cruise we could make reservations at 75 nights out and for the second one and this one at 105 nights out as we had the REAS package for both of them.

We are also having dinner at Palo on the Tuesday. What time is your reservation?

Anyone else doing tea?

We are doing the team as well. I was in two minds as I read so many bad reviews and people we were talking to on the Magic last year did not enjoy it either, but I figured for $5 not a great deal is lost and we go mainly for the atmosphere

That is strange. We have two Macs and therefore Internet Explorer is not an option. We use Firefox as our default browser and never had a problem making our reservations.

Well, for me making the reservations is ancient history as I made them on June 20th, but here is what we got:
October 5th High Tea at Palo at 3pm
October 6th Dinner at Palo at 8pm
October 7th Dolphin Push, Pull and Swim at 10:45 am
October 8th Palo Brunch 11:30 am
October 8th Exotic Rassul 5:00pm
October 9th Parasailing 10:30 am

Darrell isn't a fan of tea either. I like it more for the atmosphere too.

Congrats on getting all of your reservations :thumbsup2

Hi All,

Ok going to say sorry in advance for all the questions. Cathching up today great to see you all getting your excursions glad you all got what you wanted.

But then the panic set in I don't know what to book. Would like to do a dolphin excursion and also the glass boat ride but which port is best to do them at is it best to book through dcl or do it myself. Also if we do them will we still have time to do some shooping and see the other sights is the shopping any good?

Then there s Palo which meal to go for or can we book all three(Ashleigh says she will go to the club) which days are best to go port days or sail days.

I have until the 20th July to decide but its not far away now. Maybe Corinna can confirm think I have to book at 5.00am UK time.

Think this is the last one but do we pay for all of the excursions when we book them or once onboard.

Totally confused now:confused3:confused3:confused3 .

Thanks in Advance

Judith

Wow! ---U all were busy last night! :) Today I went on and registered the girls and filled out all the online stuff except payment authorization! I went to check out possibly doing Palo brunch but there was nothing left.:guilty: O well no biggie! If money would allow I am looking at an excursion in Grand Cayman but will book that on my own.

Mindi---Ok so U, Marty and the kids are in the one room and Marilyn, Sandy and Merrill are in another. All adults I am assuming? O and what about Thomas' fav team & stuff?:confused3
Regardless of why u were away or not just glad u are back on chatting!:) Taylor will be in the club with my niece. I think meeting before our ship leaves port will help all our kids maybe be excited about going to the clubs, and even more to the shy/young ones!

Well, I am so excited that we have only 88 days and we fly out. I got to pick my seats for my flight the other day! haha..I texted my sister in law and told her I couldn't get her, her DH and my niece together that they are seperated on the plane. Del and I were laughing:rotfl: our butts off cause she has never flown and was freakin out.:scared1:..OMG I got her seats together...but it was funny getting her freak out texts. She had a panic attack....good lord I guess I better not tell her that the boat is gonna be floating out in the middle of no where....

Oh ---I just would like everyone to PM me there most recent family photo, hopefully in the last month so I can update our web page and we can already know who each other are before meeting....makes it more personable!

OK off to decide what needs to be pulled outta the freezer for dinner. Hope you all had a wonderful 4th weekend. TTFN

Judith,
I think were you do the excursions is up to personal preference. I had originally planned to do the dolphin swim at Grand Cayman as it is the newer facility, but in the end Cozumel one out as you get to ride a boogie board that a dolphin is pushing along which does not seem to be part of the programme at Grand Cayman. According to the website, the excursion runs from 10:45 to 2:45 so there should be time afterwards to explore or go shopping as the all onboard time is not until 6:30 PM.

As to booking on your own, DCL now has an exclusive contract with the dolphin swim programs on both Grand Cayman and Cozumel which means that you arrive on a DCL ship, you have to book through DCL.

As to what Palo meal is best, that depends on your personal preference as well. I enjoyed the brunch, but thought the dinner had the edge over brunch. Subject to availability you can book one high tea, one brunch and one dinner. Dinner is available every evening, brunch on the Key West Day and both sea days and high tea only on both sea days.

You pay for any excursions, your meals at Palo and any spa treatments you book in advance on the ship. The charges will turn up on your onboard account.

And yes, the booking window opens at 5 AM UK time.

I'm glad to hear everyone got what they wanted! I didn't book anything yet either because we are holding out till the very last minute to pay in full to see if we can get the airline employee discount.
I can't believe it is starting to get so close! I'm starting to feel like I still have so much to do. Well I hope everyone has a great day!

Ashley and Karen.

Hi Ashleydoc...welcome aboard....Well U can find alot of info about us on our web page...located in my signature. I just need a few questions answered.. are you participating in the FE or SM exchange? If so I need stateroom number, dining(main or late), any allergies, etc.

We only have one meet planned after boarding before the life boat drill. I believe details are on our web page! We would like photos of all families to make it easier to find each other at the port. We do have a football night for guys planned to watch mon night football and are gonna plan a girls night out! Other then that I think we are holding off till the FE exchange closes!--meaning no more people can join toward July 20th. Ok any other questions feel free to ask..otherwise Welcome to the Disney Dreamers!

In the UK, the staff rates for our cruise are out now: £527.05 pp for an insight cabin, £790.95 pp for an ocean view and £949.29 pp for a veranda cabin. So considering that this does not include transfers, the booking fee and he credit card charge and we got 10% off for booking onboard, this would not save us a great deal. Considering that we also have $300 onbard credit ($200 from DCL and $100 from DU) and we would actually have ended up worse off). So I have no regrets that I am paid in full.
