Michelle, all you have to do is have one more kid, get two cabins instead of one and...voila...double the OBC. DU gives $200 obc for cat 7 and higher, and since we have two cabins we got $400. Don't ask me how we're going to pay for 2 cabins! I still haven't figuired that part out .

Andrea-Did dreams Unlimited give you an 800# to deal with them directly or do you have to email them when you need something? I thought about switching to them, but couldnt find a number anywhere on their website, so that made me a little nervous about using them. I wanted to boost my onboard credit so I could pay for the pictures that I know I am not going to be able to walk away from!!!

Robin--Once I booked there was a phone number for the "cruise concierge". But they "encourage" e-mail. I was nervous about doing it through them, but I couldn't pass up the $400 obc! If you go through them see if you can request Merrie, she has been GREAT! Everytime I e-mail her she gets back to me within 24 hours, usually less.

Michelle--I was thinking about how you said you don't buy that much onboard, so you wouldn't want the fuel charge as an OBC, but don't forget you can pay your gratuities with that! Right now we have a $400 OBC and almost all of that will go to tips. One less thing we have to worry about budgeting for. They also said that any OBC not used by the end of the cruise will be refunded. So I think you'll be good. I know what you mean though about wanting a smaller balance. We still have two cabins to pay for .

We're in the same boat (literally and figuratively ). Still have to pay off 2 cabins and have $400 obc. If they give us the fuel charge as on OBC that will be good. I'm a shopper - as is my 8 year old niece

Hi everyone! I've got another brief update for ya. We're leaving for Vietnam on Saturday, December 20th!!!! This means that we will definitely be celebrating Christmas with Katelin, Lill, Richard, Me and my BFF Trina in Vietnam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are BEYOND excited! Last night Richard and I spent about a hour preparing our lists (yes I said the word "lists") of things we need to accomplish in the next 2 weeks. We're gonna be busy. I'll check in from time to time before we leave. I also wanted to share our blog address for your viewing pleasure (if you're interested). I don't remember if there is a rule about this but figured I'd share and if I'm wrong and I'm not supposed to do that I'll remove it and apologize. We have been blogging about our adoption process and while we're in Vietnam we will be sharing updates (hopefully daily) and we will also be sharing pictures. Good Morning all

And WOOHOO KRISTI!!!

If you are wondering why so many dancers...well I think we all agree that that is all of us dancing for you!! I saved your blog to my favs in case it got removed...I don't want to miss out on the adventure. I've already started thinking about things for the FE for Katelin, well Lilli too but she gets what all the kids get and since Katelin will wanna eat everything... I will look for other options....plus just another reason to baby shop....I love baby shopping!!!

Nothing much new for me....just another Bday today....ya know after 25 it's just another year, and another year and well you get the picture! Oh but I am just 25 AGAIN! So I have been writing in my pre-trip report...hmm went through totes(pics of my cruise closet in report)can't wait till July, then I will break out the luggage and pack....yes U read it right I pack about 3 months out. I pack all new clothing for the girls so their luggage can be packed up and done.....Del and I get new things but not a completely new like the girls. Oh WOW July sounds so cool....packing, Palo reservations...YEAH!!!

Robin--I'm not sure how transferring a ressie works, since we started from scratch with DU. I'm guessing if there is a "contact us" link that would be a good place to start and ask them about your obc that you already have.
Kristi- I am sooo thrilled for you and your family. The next coupe of weeks will fly by for you, I'm sure! We will be praying for your safe travel.

Thanks everyone for Bday wishes....My mom/Dad bought be 14K Mickey head earrings Seems they bought them when they went on the 2006 cruise with us and mom as had them stashed! Shoot old age , she prolly forgot she had them which is why I got them 2 yrs later.

Ok I thought I would ask some quesions for us all to get to know more about our fav. DIS'ers

1. Which Disney character would describe your personality and why?
Mickey--cause I like being the head mouse!!

2. If you have been on the Magic, favorite thing to do?
I think my fav is..... There is so much...Probably just relaxing by the pool, and pics with the characters. Just feeling the Magic!

3. Favorite thing to do at Disney?
Definately special events like MNSSHP/MVMCP. I don't wait in line for anything here at Cedar Point and I don't wanna do it there. So I will pay for the special event and go & enjoy myself!
4. Are you dressing in pirate gear for Pirate Night?
The kids definately are and If DH & I can find something I like then we will.


5. What are you most looking forward to on this cruise?
Besides meeting all my DIS'ers, I would have to say the dolphin encounter!

6. What is a tip you have learned you would like to share?
One I WANT to share...Hmmm more of a suggestion. Take at least a few mornings and Buffet it for breakfast and sit outdoors at Topsiders. Enjoy the breath-taking views. Lumies has great breakfast too but the view is worth it at topsiders.

7. What dinner seating do you have?
Main--Hopeing for 6pm rotation!

8. What excursions look good to you?
So far just doing the dolphin one. Tinking (i mean thinking) just walk around Key West or take the trolley and MAYBE turtle farm in Grand Cayman but nothing but dolphins are set in stone! I am up for any cool suggestions.

9. Drinker? Just wondering who we are gonna find passed out on the deck chairs? Me not really...I haven't had a drink since the summer. I am bringing something to make my own but I won't have more then 1 in front of my kids, on the other hand if they are sleeping maybe I will have 2/....3 tops.

I would have to say the Fairy Godmother because I like to see people's wished come true.

Never been yet, but I think just seeing the shows will be one of my favs.

Watching the shows at each park.

4. Are you dressing in pirate gear for Pirate Night?
Yes, I think it will be fun!!!

5. What are you most looking forward to on this cruise?
Just relax and have a good vacation!!!

6. What is a tip you have learned you would like to share?
Well, seeing as how I havent been on a Disney cruise yet, I guess I am just going to keep everyones tips in mind.

Main--I think 5:45ish

8. What excursions look good to you?
They all look amazing, so I am not sure which ones we are doing yet.

9. Drinker? Just wondering who we are gonna find passed out on the deck chairs? I do drink, but not a ton. I will be trying the drink of the day, but dont plan on getting smashed.

Ohhh just a little tip for anyone up for a free drink. When formal night is there are FREE drinks in the atrium while waiting for formal photos.....Be there or be square!!!

I think that my favorite thing to do will be watching my girls be in awe of everything around them.

Go to character meals and watch the parades.

Yup, for pictures.

Seeing new ports of call. Never been to thses ports!!!

Still learning about all the great tips.

The mayan ruins tour.

I am Grumpy... enough said. My other favorite is Goofy, again enough said!

2. If you have been on the Magic, favorite thing to do?
what isnt my favorite thing? I like to watch how much my kids and dh are having. Watching their faces light up seeing something new or regreeting a character.

3. Favorite thing to do at Disney?
MNSSHP not waiting in line was awesome.

4. Are you dressing in pirate gear for Pirate Night? not really, we have on pirate shirts and have the earrings, etc.

5. What are you most looking forward to on this cruise?
My mom will get to share Disney with us.

6. What is a tip you have learned you would like to share?
best tip...Just have fun, there is no way you will get to do everything.
Also, bring pillowcases or something to have signed... great memento.
Hang signs on your door, makes it easy for the kids to find. stay onboard while in port, the pools are empty.

7. What dinner seating do you have?
Main..not sure what time yet.

8. What excursions look good to you?
We are not going any this time. Chankanaab is sooo worth it.

9. Drinker? Not really, but I wont say no to one.

Hanging out in the Rainforest Room

Riding Soarin, the more often, the better

Probably not. We are hoping to go to Palo for Pirate night as I really did not enjoy the Pirated menu

Doing the REAS package again, hanging out in the Rainforest Room, having Eggs Benedict at Lumieres for breakfast most mornings.

6. What is a tip you have learned you would like to share?
However hard they try to convince you to go up to Topsiders for the first lunch on board, resist and head over to Parrot Cay instead

Late

8. What excursions look good to you?
Anything that involves dolphins is good in my book, but for Cozumel I am torn between the Royal Dolphin Swim at Dolphinaris and the Mayan Ruins Tour

9. Drinker? Just wondering who we are gonna find passed out on the deck chairs? We do enjoy a drink, but do not really drink much on a cruise. We did the the Tequilla tasting on the Magic and I did the Martini tasting and DH did the beer tasting. We might try a wine tasting this time round. As part of the REAS package, we will get a bottle of champagne, a champagne breakfast in our cabin and a bottle from the premium wine list at Palo. We are also hoping to attend the Champagne Brunch at Palo. Outside those events, we probably won't drink

Good Morning........I love seeing the answers to the questions...

Corinna--- I totally agree about going to Parrott when you board. Actually I have never done topsiders. I only topside for breakfast and half at Lum's. I love the eggs benedict too!!! What is the rainforest room.? I am assuming something in the spa??? I don't ever make it there...with kids every cent is spent doing things together, DH and my time will come when they are older!

Val-- I agree with you...seeing the kids faces just makes my day. Actually I forgot one of my favs is walking across the plank and hearing..."Welcome aboard the Nolan Family" OMG I think I get a rush... Last time my girlfriend and I had to board before they opened the doors to anyone for here daughters massive health issue at the time....well it was weird....NO-ONE in sight. So we took what we needed to do to her room and made it back up as people were boarding...so we video taped the kids &dh's boarding, that was nice.

Well I hope everyone has a great day. I am off to get my mom from an outpatient procedure. Had to look at her stomach so they knock ya out kinda and stick a cmera down ur throat...Umm nope not signing up for that.
