My airfare wasnt that bad if you factor in the fact that Matt had a credit voucher with the Delta. So for 4 of us it cost $745. I know that may still seem like alot, but remember there are no cheap carriers from Syracuse. So that is $186.pp Delta told me if I keep checking and they lower their rates for my flight I would get the difference credited to my card. I wont hold my breath

Michelle can you add Lizardman to the fish extender and secret mickeys on our web site. He said he was definately doing all the activities and would post again after the new year. I should have got his kids names, but forgot...sorry.

Has anyone read the trip report that is titled "To brentland and back"? I just LOVE the outfits she has made for her girls. They are really awesome. Wish I were that talented!!

Robin......I am kinda confused(blondemoment)...U have Gabrielle,Sophia and a son right? Why isn't he coming? I do get lucky within 2 hrs either way we have 4-5 possible airports to choose from. I added lizardman.

My son (Matthew) isnt so much into Disney anymore. He was given the option of coming, but chose not to. I swear, I dont know what is wrong with my child...he is passing up a free vacation (free to him). He says he is all Disney'd out (is that even possible?), but I think he just doesnt want to leave his girlfriend, plus he will just be starting college, so he is going to stay home and my mom will keep her eye on him.

Well, We didnt win . Taylor is heartbroken. There were 37 teams competing and only 2 made it to Disney. That's OK we will try again next year. It was fun though. Wow Michelle what a huge tree you had in your yard!!

Robin-- I didn't realize ur DS was college bound. wow--I dont even wanna think college...glad I have years for that.

Norma-- Sydney dances competition and goes up against teams much better then they are. I tell her that she is to give it her all and if she feels that she did that, then regardless what the judges say She's a Winner!! As you know the judges are just giving their opinion of the performance. U could put another judge in there and get a totally different score. I figure it's all about the experience, I mean Sydney is a good dancer but not gonna go on and dance for lifetime so it's all about fun. Who knows with junior high in 3 yrs or so then she may decide golfing is better! That she can get a scholarship in.
I am sure Taylor did great!!! I wouldn't care I didn't win just that I was going to see the MOUSE!! LMAO Congrats to Taylor for all they did!!

Michelle-Yes Matt is starting college next year and I would hate to pull him out of school for this cruise. I did tell him he could go, but like I said he chose not to.
It is really cold here this morning. 30 degrees...Bbbrrr!!!! When I spoke to Norma, she told me that Mickey Mouse presented the winning teams with the Disney prize. Very cool!!! Gotta love the mouse!!!

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been on in a few days, everyone here has been sick (including me). We all got really bad colds, and mine turned into a sinus infection. And it's been in the 80's out here, go figure .
We leave one week from today to head out to Laura's, and we are all really excited except Ryan who has to stay here and work. Well, someone has to pay for our cruise. We will be making our door signs while we are out there, maybe we can post some pictures of them.
Michelle, yes Terri's DD is Amaya and she will be 9 and her DH is Mark. She has yet to sign up for the disboards. She came over Sat. night and picked out what she wanted for her door signs, but we didn't get a chance to sign her up because we got a late start. We had 3 soccer games that day (they were the last ones of the season) and Ashley's last one got changed to a night game and the field was running behind, so we didn't get home until almost 8:30. Another year of soccer is over, well until indoor starts up, uh, next month, and then there's the school team Ashley will be trying out for in the spring at her high school. So I use the term "over" loosley. But we will have the next few Saturdays free from soccer.
I've been reading on the boards that some peoples prices are going down. I checked our ressie and our price hasn't gone down, but I'm hoping maybe it will. One can hope.

What are you talking about prices have been coming down????? Do they automatically adjust them, or do we need to contact them?

From what I've read, you have to contact your TA (if you booked through one--which you did ). Don't worry Laura, I'm watching ours. So far, it's the same. This one person posted and said that their cruise in March dropped in price and they got the difference credited to them. Wouldn't that be nice!!
I know Disney announced that they were going to lower there prices in the first quarter of 2009 because of the economy, and the fact that their stock dropped. I just didn't realise that they would be dropping cruise prices too. Lets all hope they drop our week (although it's in the last quarter of 2009) or even better, maybe our ship wont be full.

Good Morning all....... OMG it's a cold one. Well welcome snow...got it last night. Yard is almost clear of wood. I am praying I get my yard back soon. Not that I will be doing any yard work for 4 months or so.
I hope our cruise drops too!! I wish our cruise was the dates being offered that 3 nighter for $99 a person the following fall. I would love that. Never been on the Wonder and really don't plan on it cause those cruises are to short but hey if I could cruise a 3 nt'er for $300...i would be game!

So anything new with anyone?? Just same old here. Cold, dance, cold, dance and so on. Andrea brace yourself for the cold!!! I love watching warm weathered folk come to the cold...it's funny. Sorta like people watching on Black Friday and watching the nuts who are bankin their kids Xmas on those deals. FoolS!!! I am done with what they want. If I find anything else well thats a bonus. Like when I went on BlackFriday.com it says that one store will have a kids digital camera for 20.00 and I thought that would be a good gift for DD(4) for the cruise. If I get it great , if I don't owell. I will not be knocking people over for anything like when I was a kid and someone knocked a pregnant woman over and were grabbing Cabbage Patch kids outta peoples hands...I mean sheesh a dang doll... LOL

It's getting cold here Andrea. It's going to be highs in the 30's this week... Don't worry it's supposed to be in the 40's next week.

Soooo......I probably shouldn't mention that it was 76 here today . I am bracing myself for next week. We do look funny when we head east. We will be the ones in the 45-50 degree weather with every article of clothing we own on our bodies and still shivering uncontrolably. I have to say that I get a good laugh at all the tourists that come to San Francisco in the summer time and bring nothing but shorts and tank tops, I guess word hasn't got out the the coldest time of year in San Francisco is summer. We are one hour from SF and our summer temps are in the 90's and 100's, while SF is 60 .

Hi everyone. From catching up on my reading it looks like everyone is doing well. LOVE the trees!! Wish I could have some of the wood. HOWEVER, even if I did, we couldn't use it in our fireplace. Some moron chose to extend the oil flu (sp?) past the fireplace flu and thus we can't use the fireplace or we'd have smoke coming into the house. What dumbies. We have lived in this house for about 11 years now and we just don't have $$$ growing on our trees around here so we haven't been able to remedy that situation. Soooooo, we have a beautiful fireplace candle thing (can't think of the word this morning) that we light up and pretend it's a fire.

I have been busting my rump at work this past week and frankly I'm tired of looking at tax returns. I still have 3 more to do and they aren't the normal type tax returns where I can use TurboTax and I can ask for help on the help line if necessary. Noooooo, these have to be Forms 706 and REV-1500 (inheritance tax returns) that have a completely different program with about a 4-inch thick "book" that you can go through to get your answers. Only those answers aren't always the correct answers cause it seems the rules change daily. Gotta love it. NOT!!!!!

So when I'm done at work I come home and crash the brain, thus the reason I haven't been on.

We're starting to work on finishing up the nursery this week as well as empty out our storage unit before the end of the month (since we won't be moving any time soon). So again I haven't gotten to the chain or anything else for that matter. We've still got time though so I'm not going to panic yet.

The rest of this week will be very busy so if I don't get back on here don't worry. I haven't fallen off the planet.
