Thank you all for welcoming me. My name is Michelle. Umm yes I bet Dismom73 we will run into each other at the clubs. Mine pick and choose what they wanna do, they are not all day clubers. We booked a few weeks ago, taking advantage of the 50% off the down pmt. We are on deck 6. I loved our balcony on our first DC but honestly makes me with the kids so nervous so we go with an oceanview. Same space just no worries my 5 yr old(oct 09) will leap off the boat, haha! I love the fish extender idea...can't believe I never saw it before. So how many of us are there and do we fill each others daily? So there could be 5-10 families x2 kids each so thats alot of filling....gotta teach me how this works. Funny i am a DCL veteran but a fish extender virgin...ha
So just to catch up besides dismom73 what are everyone elses kids ages? I think I have to wait to put a photo of us on here but hopefully soon.

OMG we just were on the Magic in Feb. 2008 for 7 ntr and I am so going nuts for another cruise.....I don't know how I will make it waiting till Oct 09!! I need my 3rd cruise now not later...hahaha

Hi Michelle, I am Robin. We are also on deck 6. We are in cabin 6608. This will be our first time staying in a room with a balcony. I am excited.
Matt (dh) and I have 2 daughters who will be sailing with us. Gabrielle (Gabi) and Sophia. At the time of the cruise Gabi will turn 10 on October 2nd '09 and Sophie turns 3 also on October 2nd '09. Gabi really liked the kids club on Royal Caribbean, so she is very excited to go to disney's kids club. Especially Goofy's pajama party.

Andrea, Please dont temp me with a christmas cruise...I really want to do another disney cruise and I havent even gone on my first one yet. So I might take you up on that offer But dont you think a halloween cruise would be cool too?

Wow Robin it seems alot of us have girls and around the same age! My Sydney(turnin 9 on June 28) loves the Goofy Pj party especially since they get to color pillowcases so we have 4 floating around our house. My girls love sleeping on them to remind them it will be here before they know it.
My youngest Nelia(pronounced na-lee-ah) will turn 5(Jan 28) and she likes the dosey do with Snow White! Actually Sydney is excited about escargote...she loves it and loves she can order 2 or more...haha
Well i am off to look for a Fish Extender!

Michelle, There really are some cute fish extenders on ebay. The person I got mine from is getting ready to go on her disney cruise and has stopped making them until after she returns. She will be back by the middle of October. She makes a great pirate FE . If you can wait, I'd check out her stuff once she returns. Have a great evening!!

Ok I know I am a few days behind here so I went back trying to read some and Kristi OMG congrats what a beautiful baby and ur daughter is gorgeous...didn't you just love Bibbiddy? My daughters loved it when they did it a year ago!
Ok I am going to go back and read somemore & see if I can figure out this whole FE thing. ha OK I see I think. But as I am a planner and look for things now. Can someone tell me with this fish extender, do you just stuff the kids ones and do we each get a family or stuff all in the group? Disney Dreamers are growing...LOL
Also noticed you guys were talkin about flying in the night before. We definately are! Since we have done DCL before I have a certain way I do everything. I am looking at Ron Jon Resort by the port or radisson I think. Night

Michelle, we are on deck 6 too! We have connecting Cat. 7's (6640/6642). In addition to our DD's 10 and 5 (at cruise time we also have a DD who will be 15 on the cruise. So you are right, there will be girls everywhere! I'm not exactly sure how the FE exchange is broken down. I guess we'll have to spy at someone elses board to find out. I'm sure we will have LOTS of families by the time we get closer to sailing, which right now seems like an eternity away! I think it works something like a gift exchange where certain people are assigned certain days or other families or something like that. I guess we have a little bit of time to figure it out.

Ok, I just looked at the Oct 24, 2009 sailing and they have over 70 pages on their thread! We are way behind!

Robin--A Halloween cruise would be fun, but we were thinking Christmas because, not only would the kids not have to miss school (Ashley will be a Junior in HS that year) but it is rumored that it will be a 10 day sailing over Christmas that year! Who doesn't want to do a 10 day? Of course I think we will have to use Ashley's college money to go on a 10 day over Christmas (since we need two cabins) it will be well into the 5 digit price range, I'm sure...so we'll have to see. She can get a job, right? Maybe even a scholarship.

Hey I say that's why they mae financial aid....HAHA wow I would love to go for 10 days, wish Sydney didn't do competition dance. That dancing takes away from my cruise budget!!! 2010 we go to Ocean City,Maryland for a Nationals for dance competition in July.
Ok I have an idiot question....I never use this I always type out words so I get DD is daughter but what the heck is the first D? Ditzy,dorky,darling,ding-dong...LOL I could think of more, so someone please tell me! Feeling old here!
oh if I remember right we are in 6520! I love the cat. 6's but everytime we have a balcony I have nightmares before we go that my daredevil Nelia(5-cruise time) jumps over-board. So Oceanview is my safe bet and no difference just the balcony. Plus mine love getting in the window and taking a photo then comparing them and seeing how they have grown!

Hi Guys, I just spoke to my BFF and she is not thrilled that I posted a picture of her with her sun burned self for all to see. So I told her I would post another one to show you that she is really not that red in person.

But I am going to be totally honest as to how she ended up with her sunburn. Too much of this...

Well what can I say...those "drinks of the day" on the cruise were really good!! I promise that this time there will be no drinking like THAT!!!
Welcome fortheloveofdcl. Glad to see our group is growing. We are also located on deck 6 in cabin #6609. I have a dd who will also be 10 at the time of travel. Her name is Taylor .

I did go shopping to get some things for the cruise. As the time gets closer I will buy more I am sure. I am making matching minnie mouse outfits for dd and bff's girls. When I get them done I will post them.

I thought to recongnize each other we could wear name tags that look like the crew ones w/our name/state etc. Or certain colored beads or well just throwing out ideas.

Well you got my family right. I probably should mention that my DH's name is Ryan since he will be there too. Although, he's not nearly as excited as the girls and I. He didn't help at all when we made our count down chain, just because it was 450 days away at the time . Now we have only a little over 380 days to go---see, time is flying by!

Andrea ----I am glad to know I took good notes...haha My DH is Del. He too doesn't get into all this until it is like August! I get all the goodies and pack everything he just shows up! Now that this is our 3rd cruise, I have traditions we do, like I board,eat,send the kids to the pool w/DH while I go to the stateroom and put out goodie bags of googles,new sunglasses,etc etc for the girls that they think Mickey does. Well he does with my help. Don't find it worth what they charge for what they give. Then I unload as much luggage as I can before the safety drill. The kids have the same drawers everytime & this way they come in & I don't hear "Mom,where's this & that?", instead they know where to look. Other traditions are the girls and I do tea with Wendy/Alice&Mad Hatter! Anyone have things they do everytime?
You will all learn I am a planner and over organized!! LOL Like I think i could go today! I have dinner wear for the girls and I for almost everynight, just need some polos for DH. I have loads of tips and I hope alot of U guys do to, I am open for new tricks!! =)
